Peter perched himself on the side of the daily bugle. He was watching the city from a distance. It's friendly neighborhood crime fighter. He was looking for trouble, not all people do that because that's what the heroes do they look for trouble to stop. He didn't do that not this time.

A jump. Peters head snapped to the left and a girl just thirty seconds from impact was falling gracefully, as if she was to dive into the pavement like water. Peter took action and swung to her by the silk from his wrist. He threw himself at her.

In the new York night the two crashed into the window. Peter on his back with glass striking his side and tearing his suit. He was gripping a red head in his arms. Softly he let her go with a grunt. He got up offering his hand.

She attacked.

"Why the hell would you stop me!" She yelled. Tears welled in her eyes as glass stung her skin all over.

"I wasn't going to let you die." Peter said through his red mask. His voice was softly muffled and cut up from the glass in his skin. It was like alcohol to an open wound it stung badly.

"I s-saved you, a thank you would be your response." He stated. He found it rude that he didnt get a thank you for risking his life to save hers. Let alone that she was a stranger.

"Maybe I don't need saving Spider-Man." She argued sarcastically.

Peter didn't understand and hopped out the window leaving the girl in the building of  newspapers.

The woman limped back ti her apartment with glass in her foot. Blood leaked from her forehead and her shoulder was in grave pain. Though she did live it wasn't what she wanted. She didn't want to, she didn't deserve it. (So she thinks)
