Jefferson steps into the group of arguing villagers, "Enough! Think about what you're saying, all of you!"

The villagers stop and stare at him.

"Shadow Nation is not to blame for this, they were affected just as much as we were. Get your heads on straight! They aren't the enemy this time, alright?" he continues.

One villager speaks up, "you're married to their leader, of course you'd say that. I suppose he is right though."

Jefferson shakes his head at the man, "You think I'm bias," he bitterly chuckles, "damn you know I imprisoned her, right? My own wife, do you know how hard that was?"

The man who spoke up shuts up immediately and bows his head. The villagers leave, only the Shadow Nation man is left. He nods to Jefferson respectively, "Thank you... Sir. I don't really know what to do in a situation like that."

I make my way over to them and nudge my shoulder against Jefferson. He turns to me, "hey..."
He sees that I've still got two babies in my arms and he takes one away from me to relieve my aching arms. The warrior, who I recognize now as Henry, immediately bows his head at my presence. One of the last times we interacted was when he accused me before my people of being disloyal.

"You alright Henry?" I ask him.

He nods, "Yes Commander, are you?"

I smile slightly, "I'm fine, I think. Shaken a little, like everyone else."

He smiles just a little, "you look it, but I'm glad you're alright, I don't know what we'd do without you now."

I return the smile faintly, "Thank you."

Jefferson gently rocks his son in his arms, Kenneth stops crying finally and snuggles into his father's chest. "How you feeling?" he asks me.

I sigh, "I don't know... Confused... The damage doesn't seem so bad this time actually, but it is hard to say at this point."

He nods, "yeah you're right, we won't know till tomorrow I suppose."

I turn back to where Luna is standing with Austin in her arms next to her "friend" Jefferson is at my heels.

I thank her for taking the baby. She coughs out a shaky, "your welcome"

"like I said earlier, I should go to the Guild as soon as I can. There will be a lot of confused people there as well as some other things I should attend to." He says to me from behind.

I nod, "Alright..."

He stares a moment into space, "I'd say you should go back home with the kids and try to rest if you possibly can. However... I don't really want to leave you alone anywhere being that a lot of people... You know..."

I interrupt him, "I can take care of myself you know."

He raises a brow with a hint of amusement, "I don't wanna say you can't, so let's just say you'll come with me for my own peace of mind. I may be a little paranoid right now, I couldn't be at ease leaving you right now with everyone out of their minds because of this chaos. Why don't you just rest in my office at the Guild?"

I shrug, "Fine then, just because you're paranoid."

He smiles and shakes his head, "alright, let's go."

He takes Austin from Luna and cradles him in his free arm. "can't believe you carried all three of them inside you at one point, dunno how you did it."

I chuckle and hug Luna goodbye. "call me in the morning, okay? Be safe."
She nods, "you too mother..."

At the Guild, swarms of Gyardicans and even more villagers are everywhere. Since the hospitals are probably full, everyone comes here because many of the Gyardicans have medical degrees and equipment at the Guild.
Inside the Guild, Jefferson is stopped by a few generals. "There you are Captain. You alright?"
