it was 1975, and josh couldn't be more happy. he had moved to california with his lover, a brown haired boy he loved more than anything. he had bought the car of his dreams, and he had gotten away from everyone who persecuted him for who he was.
"well i keep on thinkin' bout you, sister golden hair surprise..."
josh looked over at the small brunette next to him in his large yellow convertible, singing along to the song at the top of his lungs. josh beamed, resting his hand on his lover's knee. he looked over and flashed that smile that could melt him in a heartbeat.
"and i just can't live without you, can't you see it in my eyes..."
josh turned the radio up, singing along with the brown haired boy next to him. they sped down the long winding road, wind in their hair and sun on their skin.
"hey," josh said, turning down the radio.
his lover looked over, smiling. "yea?"
josh beamed at the sight of his face. "tyler, you're beautiful." he said, making his lover blush.
tyler leaned over, stealing a kiss from josh before pulling away and continuing to sing.
"will you meet me in the middle, will you meet me in the end..."
josh looked back at the road, his hand still resting on tyler's knee.
