freddy stared out the window and watched the snow quietly fall on the city. he shuffled onto his side, moving closer to the man next to him in bed, since all the warmth was coming from him. he sighed, settling in next to lenny,
he watched the snow out the window, the large white flakes landing on the windowsill outside mesmerized freddy.
the pre-christmas depression was settling in for him; the feelings of guilt and overwhelm was finally getting to him.
his lover shifted. "freddy, it's 4 am. what're you still doing awake?" lenny asked groggily.
freddy sighed. "thinking." he said, laying on his back.
the older man sat up, looking down at freddy. "about what?" he asked, a worried look on his face.
freddy waved his hand, instinctively dismissing his worry. "ah, y'know, sometimes you just feel that empty feeling in your stomach. always happens to me around christmas." he said, looking back to the window. the snow was falling slower now.
lenny ran his hand through lenny's hair. "don't let your mind wander too much this late at night." he said, looking to the window as well.
freddy sighed with exhaustion and contentment. maybe he was letting it all get to his head.
