When Jeffrey arrived home he quickly went inside his room. He got his phone and saw a friend request from a Danna Amor.
"This must be her." He thought and sighed. "Finally." Jeffrey accepted the request and immediately received a message from her sent through a voice recording. Jeffrey played the message and heard.
"Hi!!" She greeted with a loud but charming voice.
Jeffrey was amazed upon hearing this, it made him smile without knowing it. He quickly replied with a recording of his own. "Hello."
"I'm so sorry if this is sudden to you but I really want to thank you for accepting my request." She replied, and the recorded messages goes on and on.
"So... today is the 16th of January right? Founders week starts in a month so we only got a month to practice, we'll also be a bit busy since we are also practicing for our own song to be recorded." He explained to Danna, a little nervous about what Danna would say. He was thinking that she would cancel the agreement and find another band to play with her.
Upon hearing this message, Danna quickly replied, "It's okay, I know you are busy with your song too and I'm sorry for disturbing your practices with my request." she apologized.
"Ohh no don't be." Jeffrey replied. "I just hope that you'd understand that there may be some days which we can't practice for your song." He continued.
"I'm totally fine with that Jeff. Hey, if we start practising, I could come over to your band room right?" She excitedly asked Jeffrey.
"Yeah sure." Jeffrey agreed.
"Yeeey!!" Danna replied. "Even if you practice your song, can I still visit?" She asked.
"Of course Danna, you'll be welcome anytime." As Jeffrey accepts her plead.
"Okay then, so you're in charge of the composition right? I'll just record here the song on my phone and send it to you alright?" She asked, "I'll send it to you right now, just wait a a little while please. Thanks!!"
Jeffrey waited for a couple of minutes until the recorded message arrived. He pressed the play button and heard Danna sang for the second time. It was the complete version of the song she sang back at the canteen. Jeffrey was astonished at her voice that he played the song over and over again until he realized that a new message from Danna had arrived.
"So.. How was it?" She asked Jeffrey with a shallow voice.
Jeffrey replied, "It was so great. I'm sorry I took too long to reply. It's just that I was so amazed with your voice."
"Aww.. stop that Jeff, you're making me blush." She replied.
"I think that this song should be a ballad." He suggested.
"Hmm.. Okay the Jeff. You're the songwriter here."
"Okay then. Tomorrow after class, you go directly to our band room. I'll be waiting for you there." Jeffrey informs Danna.
"Only you?" She was surprised upon hearing this.
"Yeah because I'll try to let you hear the song first before I'll let them hear it." he explained, "I'll keep it between us for a little while." He adds.
"Aww how cute.." Danna replies. "Okay Jeff, if you say so."
