So far, so good. Winter was on a date with Moon, the most amazing dragon he'd ever met. They were almost in the Laze & Dine. All of a sudden, he saw a golden dragon that looked like Qibli. What was that rattlesnake of a dragon doing at his date? Calm down, Winter. Don't jump to conclusions.

"Hey that looks like Qibli!" Winter exclaimed. The dragon went into the Laze and Dine with a black dragon.

"I'm sure that isn't him," Moon said nervously.

"Okay, then let's go and catch lunch at the Laze & Dine. I really want one of those mango dragonfruit smoothies," said Winter.

"Alright," Moon said reluctantly.

The two entered the restaurant. Moon was looking around, and didn't see what she was looking for. She looked relieved. What- or who could she be looking for?

A green and purple RainWing named Canopy walked over to serve them.

"Hi, I'm Canopy, and I'm gonna be ya server today, how may I help ya?"

"Two dragon fruit smoothies," smiled Winter, giving Moon one of those dashing winks. You know how in the movies the actors teeth flash? Yep, that's Winter with wings and a tail. "They're on me."

"Hey, ya are Secretkeeper's daughter right? The one who was illegally raised in the rainforest?"

"Yep, that's me. That dragon everyone seems to be annoyed at because I wasn't raised in sulfur pit." Moon sighed.

"I'm not annoyed by you," Winter reached his talon towards her.

Moon blushed and pulled her talon away.

Meanwhile, Canopy is watching.

"SHIPPITY SHIP SHIP SHIP until ya were REJECTED!"

Winter snarled. "Why are you still here? I'm a prince. Go serve me like a good dragon."

Canopy hustled away, trying to contain her laughter but failing. He could hear her snorts under her snout that she had covered with her talons. Winter was sure he wouldn't leave her a tip.

"Why did you not take my talon?" Winter asked.

"I, um, am not sure. I just, um, had to scratch my wing. Really badly. I got one of those nasty mosquito bites you get in the rainforest. Got some Cortisone?"

Winter was hurt and embarrassed. His wings drooped. Moon didn't want to with him.

Maybe he could win her affection back. Maybe is this afternoon was the best date ever.

A plan began hatching in Winter's mind. A plan that could change his love life for the better.
