9:30pm. Imonoyama Castle. Ground Hall.

Even though the alliance ball is nearing its end, all the visitors from before are still present, this time the lady guest are hovering over Kaede. He wasn’t really talking to other female guest before, but some of them keep insisting so he had no other choice but to entertain them.  ß- Girls from some socialite families.

Some of the girls were discussing about the time when Kaede walked down the stairs with Ceres, they remembered how the both of them looked good together, but still, they still can’t help fantasize about the “Dark Prince”. At first they were captivated by the Demon Kingà Toshiya, he had this incredible domineering air around him, but Kaede is pretty much the same with Toshiya, the only difference is that it was cancelled out because he was together with Ceres when they first saw him, somehow it changed the aura that Kaede was supposed to give off. But right now since he was alone, they can clearly see how captivating he is, he was so reserved while talking, no emotions at all, sometimes he would pull his tie to release the tension he was feeling, the girls would stop breathing for some seconds just to get a glimpse of that image, then some of them also noticed every time Kaede’s eyes catches Ceres, he would unconsciously show a slight smile, it makes their heart skip a beat.

While the girls are having fun, the young guys at the party are having a hard time approaching Ceres, because she was constantly surrounded by her members and her other friends, and when some of them finally saw a chance to get close to her, they unfortunately bumps into Kaede, he didn’t say a thing, he just smirked and then look them straight into their eyes, though he wasn’t saying anything, the looked on Kaede’s eyes clearly says… “Touch her and I’ll KILL you…” so they had no choice but to back off.

After Kaede lost his patience talking to the female guest, he asked Nokuro’s help ß- was glad he could help, has a harem fetish. Then he was finally free. He saw Ceres walks out the ground hall and was going upstairs so he followed her. It’s almost time to end the party so there’s no need for them to stick around.

Ceres went to the balcony where she saw Kaede earlier, she just stood there, without moving, then after 5 minutes, she collapsed, she almost hit her head but Kaede caught her before she totally fell.

Kaede: “Oi…  doushita no?” he said really worried.

Ceres blinked a couple of times before answering.

Ceres: “Ka-Ka—Ka-e-de??”

Kaede helped her stand up. She was still staggering so Kaede was still holding her.

Ceres: “w-what h-happened?” she said after recovering from the fall.

Kaede: “That’s what I like to know… are you okay?...”

Ceres: “I guess…” she said still dazed.

Kaede: “Don’t scare me like that, I was surprised when you suddenly collapsed, are you sure you’re okay?” he said with a really worried tone.

Ceres chuckled when she heard how worried Kaede’s voice was.

Ceres: “You’re exaggerating, I’m perfectly fine, I’m just a bit tired…” she said ,now smiling. “…by the way… I wasn’t able to say this before,.. but you look dazzling…” she said them smiled even more.

Kaede was stunned… then he blushed, even his ears were red. But after a while he laughed.

Kaede: “there you go again.. stealing my lines… listen up Ceres..”

Ceres flinched when she heard Kaede called out her name.

Kaede: “… you are the one who’s dazzling… you completely took my breath away… you almost made my heart stop beating… how cunning…” he said then he smiled really gently.
