You're in fourth year and the Yule ball is coming up. You were hoping Draco would find the balls to ask you to go with him. But no he went and asked pansy. You couldn't believe it! Pansy was one of your close friends how could she do this to you! You ran to the common room basically crying, it was just you so you let out all the tears. After crying you came up with a plan, you decided that you would upstage pansy and make Draco jealous. So you went to the ball with Marcus flint the Quidditch captain. You wore an amazing dress with a black corset and a green skirt. Your hair was flowing down your back in curls, everyone stared at you in awe. You looked around to find Draco and Marcus standing by eachother, you made your way to Marcus and took him to dance. Pansy looked furious that all attention was on you so she pulled Draco out to the middle and started dancing. Your plan was going okay but in the meantime you had fun with Marcus, he was a close friend so it was very friendly and fun. At the end you couldn't find Draco and pansy was with her friends. Marcus took you back to your dorm and said good night. That night all pansy talked about was Draco, you were on the verge of hexing her so you left the dorm and took a walk around the school. After you cooled down you went back to the common room when you heard a chuckle. "Don't you think it's a bit late for a walk y/n" said Draco
"It's never too late for anything" you reply
"You looked stunning tonight" he grinned
"Not as stunning as your new girlfriend" you reply with more sas than intended
"Now who could that be" he asked mockingly
"Pansy" you reply now confused
"Hah pansy isn't my girlfriend we went to the ball as friends like you and flint" he replied
"Wow you should tell her that" you said then you left after giving Draco a hug and kissing his cheek. When you got back to your room pansy was asleep, thank god.
The next day pansy walked into potions class puffy eyed and sad. You guessed that draco had told her. After class you caught up to pansy and when she looked at you she became angry and tried to slap you. You told pansy to back off but she got angrier and tried to kick you but before she could try to assault you again a cold voice spoke out.
"Pansy leave her alone" said Draco
Pansy ran off still angry. You got up off the ground and started ranting to Draco about how you could've dealt with pansy on your own but Draco just stared at you, and when you finished he said "You look pretty when you're angry" You didn't know what to say but then he took a necklace out of his pocket it was a heart with both of your names on it. You were still speechless as he said,
"Y/n will you be my girlfriend"
"Yes Draco of course" you smiled and kissed him.
The two of you were inseparable ever since.
