Out on a mission. Just you and rick since nobody else could join us. Only problem is you and rick either are always arguing or being neutral but truth is I love the man.

"Come on there's a herd coming" he yells running towards a run down house

"I could keep up with you if I didn't have to carry all your shit" I sigh jogging after him

We get into the house and lock the doors. Surprisingly no walkers.
As night approaches it gets to be freezing

"Okay I'm getting this side of the bed you got that side" rick gestures to my side

"I'm freezing!" I laugh climbing into bed

"You always have something to complain about" he shakes his head

"What's that supposed to mean?!" I roll my eyes

"Oh nothing" he shrugs

"Go to sleep mr. I'm always grumpy" I smirk throwing a pillow at him and then turning over

"Night" he mumbles with a little smile

"Night grumpy"

The morning was pretty awkward since I woke up on top of rick with his arms securely wrapped around me. As I woke up so did he and we make an awkward attempt to get off each other.
I go downstairs while he's in the bathroom and find some canned fruit. I open it and eat half saving the rest for rick.

When he comes downstairs he quietly takes my fruit offering and we leave in silence.
as we continue down a road I notice I have no clue where I am?

"Rick did we take a wrong turn?" I ask

"Lemme check the map" he sighs stopping

As he looks I search around in empty abandoned cars. As I loot a walker crawls out from under one and grabs my ankle tripping me

"Rick!!! HELP!" I yell trying to shove it off
He runs over and stabs it

"Nice going" he says grabbing my hand to help me up

"Thanks grumpy." I snarl

We walk more In silence

"Im not always grumpy" rick says obviously moody

"Uh. Yes you are!" I laugh

"I just saved your life. Which I didn't have to do" he shrugs

"Oh really? You would've let me die??" I say dramatically

"You could've handled it yourself drama queen" he chuckles

"Drama queen!!?? That's it" I throw my hands up and stop walking he walks on a bit before looking at me

"Are you kidding?!" He yells

"Am I kidding!? No you just called me a drama queen!" I sigh listening to how dumb I sound

"Y/n come on! Admit-"

"No. Rick I'm not arguing about this" I close my eyes calming down

"You're the one who called me grumpy" he says sounding closer than before

"Rick! I'm not-"
Suddenly he grabs me and his lips meet mine. We kiss for a moment before he lets go

"I saved you cause I love you. Now get your ass on a move" he says in a mean tone
Which I'm speechless so all I can do is keep walking.
I always knew he liked me ;)
