I have been dating the trust-fund brat for a year now and I still haven't met the infamous family.
He's always told me how bad they are but Ive never gotten the chance to see for myself.

I met Linda and Don once.
Linda likes me, says I'm good for Hugh.
Don honestly wasn't even paying attention to me.

Now it is Christmas and Ransom received an invitation to his grandfathers house for a party

"Oh Ransom come on we have to go" I plead as he reads the invite

"No way, you know what kind of people they are" he sighs throwing the piece of paper

"Honey I've never met them, what if we go and then I can see just how bad they are." I suggest

He opens his arms for me to sit with him.

"What if they got me a present? You know I love presents" i smile sitting with him as he holds me

He can't help but smile

"I can get you anything you want babe" he shakes his head

"I haven't even gotten to meet your grandfather and I'm living off his money with you. I should at least get to meet him" I pout

"Pleaseeee Babe. Or I'll go without you" I smirk knowing how protective Ransom is over me

"Fine, we'll go" Ransom smiles seeing my face light up

"Yay!" I exclaim excitedly and give him a kiss

Before I know it the day is here, Christmas Eve

"Ransom, come on babe get up" I poke at him through the blankets

I get up and start to get ready

"Come on I'm taking a shower" I yell from our bathroom
I hear him get up immediately

In the shower Ransom tells me all the details on his family again

"And Joni is a widow, Meg is her daughter" I nod listening

"And biggest note, they all hate me" he says not ashamed of it

"It can't be that bad" I say putting on a towel as we get out of the shower

He gives me a look

"Oh come on" I roll my eyes

"You'll see babe" he shrugs his shoulders going to his closet

I spend majority of my time in the bathroom
I dry my hair then curl it.
I put on my new dress Ransom got me for Christmas.
I find my favorite earrings, and put on matching jewelry.
Then I do my makeup

"You've been in here forever" Ransom says coming in the bathroom wearing one of his many white knit sweaters that I love

"You look handsome" I smile as he does his hair

"And you're always beautiful" he winks before leaving again

I check the time and it's almost time to leave

I hum to myself as I pick out the best heels for the occasion

"Okay Ransom come on its time to go!" I yell from the bottom of the stairs

I check the time again while waiting by the door
I roll my eyes waiting for my boyfriend

"Ransom Drysdale" I groan annoyed

"Yeah yeah" he smiles coming down the stairs

"We're late" I pout

"No such thing" he smirks kissing my cheek as he grabs his keys
