Tony starks daughter pt 2

"Peter get in here!!" I yell jumping around

"What y/n what!!" He yells running in the room

"Dad is texting me" I run to him

"Really!" He exclaims looking at my phone

"Well it said he read it" I smile

"I guess we just wait for him to text back" Peter sighs

"It's been almost 3 months" I sigh

"It's not his fault. He's Iron man" Peter sighs as well

"Yeah I know but hey! He's texting me" I smile thinking of my dad.

We wait and wait. Pete goes out with aunt may to get lunch for us but I say back.

As we sit and eat our street tacos my phone buzzes and i pick it up so fast I almost drop it

"Who is it who is it!!" Peter yells

"It's dad!!!!!" I scream

I open the message, tearing up.

"My dearest y/n I've been missing you and peter so much lately it sucks not being near you every minute of the day. I plan on making time to come see you in the weeks ahead. I know you probably heard about uncle Rhodes and he's doing alright, I'm taking good care of him. I hope school is good for Pete and yourself, and tell may I said hi. Peter. I'm extremely proud of him and I would never let him get hurt. You kids are a huge part of my life and I can't wait to be spending more time with you. Y/n I love you so much and I really do miss you. I may not be able to text you or call every day but trust me I think of you every second of every day.
And I know you're worried about the future but I promise it'll be ok. I'll do anything to make sure you're safe. And yes I remember what happened after New York that wasn't good for you and I won't let you see me like that again. My ptsd and anxiety still gets me sometimes. But hey I'm doing ok right now kid and I can't wait to see my sunshine :) see ya soon

I'm now crying missing my dad so much.

I hug Peter and cry with a smile knowing that dad is thinking of us.

I type back

"Love you dad!! snap me then if you remember so well"

Press send and wait some more.

Next morning.

I wake up and I have a new email. I open it and see the headline. Tony stark attends annual charity banquet.
There's a note attached to the email.
Hey y/n it's Happy! Your dad is busy today but I am working on clearing his schedule to make plans for you.

I smile reading the message. And then I get a snapchat. From dad!? I smile and call Peter in the room

"Look Peter!" I say

I smile and show Peter.

"I can't wait to see him" Peter smiles and lays on the bed

I take a picture and send it back to dad

The day goes on and I wait for a response.
