Dean woke up the next morning, Castiel was still beside him. "Good morning", the angel said with a smile. Dean sleepily smiled back. He noticed Sam was also wake and sitting at the small table with a cup of coffee in his hand. Cass got out of the bed and put his trench coat on. "I have to go take care of some business in Heaven, but I'll be back, okay?"

Dean nodded, "Can I see you for lunch?" He got out of bed and engulfed the angel in a hug.

"Of course" the angel said before disappearing. Dean stared at the spot where he was just standing with a goofy smile plastered on his face. When he looked at Sam again, Sam smiled at him and shook his head.

"What?" Dean asked.

"You're obviously in love with him."

"Shut up, Sammy." Dean's cheeks began to grow red with embarrassment.

"Does this mean that you're good now?" Sam asked.

Dean nodded, "Yeah. I think so."

****Meanwhile, in Heaven****

"Castiel, you know the laws. You're getting too close to that Winchester boy. He's making you... human", Naomi spat.

"Aren't we supposed to love the humans? Isn't that what God taught us?"

"Some humans are impossible to love."

Castiel thought about this, and with a surge of confidence said, "Dean Winchester is not impossible to love."

Naomi rolled her eyes, "You're an angel. You don't love anything or anyone in a sexual manner. The Winchesters just want you to think they are your friends so they can abuse your angelic abilities."

"You don't understand them. They would never do that."

"Castiel! You've been rebellious ever since you rescued the human from the torture of Hell, against everyone's wishes, I might add."

"Sam and Dean are needed in this world. They've saved the world a number of times."

"You will not continue a relationship with the Winchester, and if you do, you shall be punished." Naomi snapped her fingers and Castiel was back on Earth.

***********

Castiel teleported himself back to the Winchesters' motel room. They weren't there. They're probably looking into a hunt, Cass thought.

A couple hours passed before the brothers walked back into the motel room. Dean was carrying bags of food, presumably their lunch. Dean immediately noticed Castiel in the room. His eyes lit up as he said, "All good upstairs?"

Castiel nodded, "Yes, everything is fine." He didn't want to lie to Dean, but he knew that if he told Dean what Naomi had said, he would most certainly go after her.
