This chapter ended up being a cute little filler, so the last one will probably be next week.

Dean walked into the motel room with Sam behind him. "We're back," Dean said as he stepped over the threshold.

"How'd it go?" Cass asked.

"Very well, case solved, no injuries," Sam replied.

"You're covered in blood and," Cass wrinkled his nose, "other unidentifiable bodily liquids."

"Yeah, I could use a shower." Dean walked up to Cass, but Cass refused to let him touch him.

"You literally have skin in your hair," Cass laughed a bit before picking out the small piece of flesh and throwing it into the garbage can.

"Now, about that shower..." Dean smirked before grasping Cass' hand and pulling him toward the bathroom.

When they left, Gabriel looked at Sam, who was far less grimy. "What don't we ever act like them?" He used Sam's own puppy dog look against him.

"Because they are disgusting sometimes."

"When?"

"Did you not just see that?!" Sam began to sound exasperated with Gabriel.

"I thought it was cute."

"You wouldn't think that pretty soon. These walls are thin..."

"Want to get out of here, then?" Gabriel stepped closer to Sam, "We can come back when they're done."

"Where do you want to go?"

"I'm in the mood for some ice cream," Gabriel suggested.

Sam smiled, "Fine... just let me change." He rummaged through his bag and pulled out a clean t shirt and jeans. When he looked up from his bag, Gabriel was looking at him with a sly smile. "Don't look," Sam said shyly. Gabriel covered his eyes with his hands, still smiling. Sam took off his shirt and jeans. When he looked at Gabriel, he noticed the angel peeking at him through his fingers. Gabriel closed his eyes again when he was caught by Sam. "Okay, I'm done," Sam said. Gabriel uncovered his eyes and reached for Sam's hand. Sam gladly took his hand. "Wait a second." Sam turned around and quickly scribbled a note to Dean.

Dean-

Went out with Gabe to give you and Cass some privacy. ;) Text me when you're done.

He left the note on Dean's bed, where he was sure to see it. He grasped Gabriel's hand once more, and they headed out of the motel room. "If Dean kills me for driving the Impala—"

Gabriel cut him off, "Yes, of course I'll heal you."

An hour later, Sam's phone buzzed. It was a text from Dean.

You can come back now.

"Let's head out," Sam suggested.

"Is it safe yet?"

"Dean says it is."

"Let's go then." Gabriel leaned forward and captured Sam's lips in a kiss. Sam immediately kissed back. It lasted a little longer than either man expected, but Sam did eventually have to break the kiss to breath.

Sam parked the Impala back at the motel. He and Gabriel climbed out and made their way into the room. Gabriel walked next to Sam with his arm around the hunter.

Dean and Cass were already in bed. It was getting late. "Where'd you two go?" Dean asked curiously.

"Gabe wanted some ice cream, so we went out and got some."

"You didn't bring me back any?"

"No, because if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have had to go out. And no, I don't want to hear about anything you and Cass did while you were gone." Sam pulled out a pair of sweatpants and went into the bathroom to shower.

When he stepped out of the bathroom wearing sweatpants and the same shirt he went out with Gabe in, he noticed Dean was already softly snoring. He smiled and picked up his laptop, this gave him to do some secret research on the Men of Letters.
