Gabriel took Sam and Dean to the gate to Heaven. Just as Cass said, the gate was an actual sandbox. Gabriel knelt and drew a large symbol in the sand as both Winchesters watched, unsure as to what was going to happen. "Let's go," Gabriel said as he motioned for the Winchesters to join him in the sand. They obliged, and all three were suddenly transported into Heaven. It wasn't as Dean had always thought it was. Instead of the pearly gates and perfection everyone thought, it was more of an office with countless hallways and rooms. The group began to silently make their way through the main hallway.
"Hey!" an angel suddenly yelled. Her shout made all three men stop in their tracks. They were all seized, and transported in front of Naomi's desk, but were still being held on to.
"State your business." Naomi's voice was stern and harsh.
"You took Castiel. I need him back," Dean stated.
Naomi's eyes lit up, "The famous Dean Winchester, we finally get to meet. And this is your brother, Sam, I presume?" Sam nodded. "I see that you also got Gabriel to help you. Good choice of an archangel; too bad he's going to be punished for treason."
"You can't do that. What you're doing is wrong!" Sam suddenly shouted. Everyone in the room looked at Sam in surprise. Dean quickly caught on to what he was doing and was able to free himself from the angel that was holding onto him. Unfortunately, all Naomi had to do was snap her fingers, and Dean's vision began to cloud with darkness. He felt himself collapse onto the floor.
Dean woke with a groan. He felt as if he'd been beaten. Slowly, he opened his eyes and looked around. He wasn't sure where he was. "Dean?" he thought he heard Cass' voice. Dean immediately forgot any of his problems and sat up. Cass was sitting on the floor with his arms around a pole, his wrists bound. Dean quickly got up and went over to his boyfriend.
"Cass, baby, are you okay? What did they do to you?" Dean's hands cupped Castiel's cheeks. Tears began to leak out of Castiel's eyes. Dean quickly wiped them away with his thumbs and leaned in to slowly kiss Castiel.
"I want to touch you, but I can't," Cass said with a slight smile.
Dean smiled back, "Let's get you outta here."
"You can't, it's Enochian magic that's keeping me bound."
Dean sighed, "I guess we'll just have to wait it out, because there's no way I'm leaving without you." He made himself comfortable next to Cass, and wrapped his arms around the angel.
"Dean, remember how you asked about my wings?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, I don't know how much longer I'm going to have them..." Suddenly, Dean noticed large, black feathers coming from what looked like out of thin air. "So I wanted to show them to you now."
"Wow," Dean said in awe. He had never seen anything so beautiful. The feathers touched the skin of his arms and face. They were incredibly soft. Dean leaned forward and captured Castiel's lips in a kiss.
Only a few minutes passed before a door opened. An angel, presumably one helping Naomi came through the doorway. Dean tried to react, but it was as if the angel knew exactly what he was going to do. He was soon overpowered, and she then bound Dean like Cass. "Dean, it's going to be okay," Cass said as she took him away. The door shut with a soft sound. Dean struggled against the bounding, but nothing would budge. He soon realized it was no use.
Eventually, Sam and Gabriel burst through the door. "Sam!" Dean called out. They both ran over to Dean. It took Gabriel a few minutes, but he released Dean.
"Where's Cass?" Sam asked.
"I don't know, someone came in and took him."
"Okay, we'll find him. Are you okay?"
"I think so, but I'm more worried about Cass."
All three quietly snuck out of the room and slunk down the hall. A couple minutes passed before Gabriel thought he heard something and stopped dead. He turned a little and motioned that he thought Cass was in the room in front of them. Silently, they walked into the room. Naomi had Castiel laying in some sort of chair, and she was wielding a large needle. "Take it, I'd rather give it up than Dean," Cass said. Naomi gave Castiel an exasperated look before injecting the needle.
