Sun's POV
I was sitting behind the sports building. I had a fight earlier with the gang named 'Boss'. They were from our neighbor, a school from the town. We fought to claim this one good place as ours and it carried on until then.
Among us, Nash wasn't fully involved except in the school. He still has his little sister to make him sane enough not to get into the troubles. All of my friends were not coming back to school. The classes had still going on and we ditched them since morning.
I came back to school to hang out at this spot, the one I claimed as mine. It's because whenever I came here, there's no one here except for me. It's better that way. I didn't have to get myself into another trouble if anyone ever sees me in that condition. I might turn into a bully to shut that person's mouth from spitting out to teachers.
My body was covered with bruises. My lips wounded, the blood still ran down my chin. I cleaned it with the back of my hand. I hissed when I felt the pain.
Suddenly, I could feel someone's gaze on me. I immediately stood up and looked around, being cautious. My eyes caught a guy. He was leaning against the wall. He had half lit cigarette between his fingers. Half lit? So it means that he's being here for quite a while? Why I don't notice him just now?
I looked up to him and he looked at me. He then put up his hands in surrender dramatically. Maybe he was aware of my gaze on him. The gaze to tell him to shut up and watch out. I saw his lips moved like he wanted to tell me something but nothing came out from his mouth. And I suddenly felt dizzy to look at him clearly. My sight got blurred and I felt weak. What's wrong with me?
In that situation, I saw him ran towards me and said something but I was too sick to hear him out. I painted!
When I came to my conscious, I was met with someone's eyes. His big round eyes. His hair fell and covered his forehead. He was touching my forehead with his palm. I was stunned at that moment. My heart raced fast and I felt electrocuted with our skin contact. Before I could process it, I quickly got up and bam! Our heads bumped to each other.
That guy hissed in pain. "What the hell is wrong with you?" he yelled but not so loud.
I was rubbing my forehead. It's quite hard and it was my fault. "I'm sorry," I uttered.
I scanned my surrounding. I was still behind the building. I looked down to find the first aid kit beside me. My brows knotted. What's with that thing?
I looked up to the guy and saw him holding a cotton wool. There was a slight yellow tint. Medicine, I guess.
He threw it later and brought his right leg into his lap. We were sitting there in silence for a moment.
I scratched the back of my head without realization. "I guess I have to say thanks?" I suddenly said. The guy looked at me with confusion.
"You'd treated my wound, isn't it? Thanks,"
He then smiled and nodded. Can I say he's beautiful when he smiled? No thanks. I would never say that.
"No biggie," he replied.
Talk more please. I didn't have ideas. Who is this guy anyway? Why I had never seen him before? He's quite handsome. And here I thought that I'd known all the handsome boys in my school. Why I missed somebody like him? He's new? Maybe. And he was stealing my spot.
"You're new?" I asked him. Couldn't help though. Need to know.
He looked at me at the corner of his eyes before he drifted his eyes back to the front. "Nope. I'm here since last year,"
"Oh," last year...
"Am I stealing your spot?"
Huh? I snapped my head to look at him. Was he reading my mind just now? "No, I guess. This is not my school anyway,"
He chuckled. Now, I love his laughing. "You don't have class?"
I moved my body to lean against the wall. "Nope. Ditching. What about you?"
"The teacher wasn't here."
So, he's not ditching class. I wonder which class he stays? "You're from which class and which year?"
"Class 1, 10th grade."
A clever student. No wonder I'd never seen him. Our classes were far from each other and different building although we were in the same year. But he smoke? "Never knew a brilliant student smoke." I said, smirking.
He smiled. "I don't know any books that forbidden someone clever from smoking. Or is it stated in any rules?"
I rolled my eyes at his answer. Skeptic!
"I stated the logic." I replied him.
"Logic can fail,"
"Whatever you say, man." Up to you. I didn't have energy to argue. What time is it now? I wanted to go home already. I was tired and my body felt like jelly.
The guy got up and dusted his pant. I just looked at him. He turned his sight on me. "I'm gonna go. My class will start soon."
I nodded. So, I couldn't go home yet? Thought the class was over.
"I'll go then. See you next time." He went. I followed his body until he disappeared behind the wall.
Next time, huh? You'll be coming here again?
