Sun's POV

Nash was studying. Zac was playing cards at the back of the class with some guys. Others either were falling asleep or scrolling their phones. And the teacher was teaching at the front. I'm telling you, it's not a rare seen in my class. Plus, this teacher is a nerd and he's afraid of us. Especially Zac and Pong, of course. They were still a few students in my class that can be categorized under nerds as well, whom are focusing on their studies. Those who sat in front of the class. And now, Nash already became one of those guys. As for me, I was listening to my mp3 player while drawing in my textbook. Nah, I'm the one using it anyway.

Soon, the bell rang for recess. The teacher quickly dashed out from the class. I chuckled at his reaction.

The one and only teacher we paid respect is the discipline teacher. Well, it's because we'd done him wrong big time. Still regretting that.

"It's recess!" Zac shouted from the back. "Let's go. I'm starving,"

"Yeah, sure," I stood up from my seat, followed by Nash and the others. We made our way to the canteen and cut in the queue at the food stall. We had been doing it for a while and no one actually dares to go against us regarding this matter. Sometimes I didn't understand why they were so afraid of us. Told 'ya. We were not bullies. We never care for those nerdy guys and the kind ones. We just made our own businesses. But I guess, our reputation was enough to scare them.

I looked around for that person but he's nowhere to be found.

"Who're you looking for?" Nash seemed to notice.

"No one," I focused back on the queue and ordered my food once I arrived at the aunty. I gave her my charming smile.

He's not having his lunch again? Is he hanging out behind that sports building? Unfortunately, today I'm not in the mood to go there.

Maybe next time.

That evening, we just played basketball at the court in school after the class ended. As I was running around the court to avoid my opponent's blocking, Nash called for someone. I stopped for a while as I felt disturbing to hear that name.

I turned around to see the guy was standing at the passageway. He waved to Nash and the others. Including me.

"Wanna join?" Nash asked him. We stopped the game for a while.

I just stared at him, waiting for his answer. I felt an excitement to see him. I didn't know why.

"It's okay. I'm going to the club room," he replied later.

"Okay then," Nash put up his hand to bid goodbye. I saw Inn did the same before he continued his way along the passageway. He didn't forget to smile at me before he went. Or at least, that was what my eyes saw.

"I still felt weird though," Zac snatched the ball from my hand when Inn disappeared from our views. "Why I never saw him before?"

Zac was running with the ball. Nash tried to block him. "Have you ever gives a damn about people? Well, except for that person,"

I just laughed when Zac threw the ball hardly to Nash. Yeah. That person. The most important one to Zac. We knew but don't ever think to bring out the topic before Zac. He was really mad if we talked about it.

"Don't mention..." Copter said to Nash.

Nash passed me the ball when he noticed I was standing under the net. I grinned and jumped high to score.

"Yeah!" I and Nash shouted.

"Look, Zac. They scored." Jack frowned.

"Why did you throw the ball to Nash?" Pong was complaining as well.

Zac just ignored them and took the ball on the court. "You want to continue or you want to keep complaining?" Zac asked in the middle of the court. He was ready to throw the ball and we quickly ran to get it.

"Anyway Nash, why don't you ask for his help?"

"Whose help?" Nash asked me in confusion.

"Inn." I answered him with a word.

"For what?"

"The club."

I blocked Jack who was running to the net. "He can get you back in," Jack said. I nodded.

Nash didn't say anything. He was running to Jack to block him too. Jack jumped but he didn't throw the ball into the net but instead passed it to Pong. I cursed when we fell into their trap. It was too late to block them when Pong already shoot and score. It was their turn to slap high-five.

Nash caught the ball and bounced it a few times. "I think it's okay. This condition..." he threw it into the net. We stood in lines, facing the net. We were doing free-shooting.

The ball bounced to the ground, didn't go in. Zac caught it.

"At least, I can focus on my study." Nash continued to where he left.

"You had changed, huh?" Zac asked him.

Nash smiled. "I wouldn't say that I change. I'm still the old me. Things just get better. That's all."

"So, you just wanna let it go?" I looked at him, raising my brows.

"Even if I ask for his help, he can't help me anyway. The decision is not in his hands. Teacher decides it."

"He can help you talk to the teacher," Pong said after that. It's what I meant as well. I knew Inn wasn't the one that decide but I wanted him to persuade the teacher to help Nash got back into the club.

"Nah. I have you guys. I have this club. It's enough. It's quite tiring to handle two clubs at the same time actually. Give me some break already," Nash grinned and asked the ball from Zac.

"If that is what you said, I guess it's okay then," Zac passed him the ball.

Nash ran back to the centre of the court with the ball in his hand. He looked at all of us. "Enough with the talk. Let's continue,"

We looked at each other and nodded. The game started again.

I thought that maybe Inn could help him get into the music club because he was a smart student and a president. But it's just the same. Teacher decides. Although I couldn't understand why the teacher in charged for the music club was so hard on Nash. It's just a fight. Not a big thing. But she went all the way by kicking out Nash from her club.

Just as we thought that we could understand people, it's beyond what our mind initially thought.
