Sun's POV
The table was filled with silence. None of us opened our mouths to talk. Nash was scratching the back of his head awkwardly. I avoided my eyes from looking at him. I was really mad because he tricked me to this restaurant. I thought he was the one that wanted to eat. He said to me no one wanted to accompany him so he forced me to come with him. Although I found it suspicious, I still agreed to eat with him.
So, now, where is the meal that he wants to eat so much? He just ordered a cup of coffee!
The guy in front of me also didn't utter a single word. He was drinking his green tea silently. I was so surprised when I saw him coming our way. I sent a death glare towards Nash but he just grinned.
If I knew, I wouldn't come!
"I want to go to gents," Nash stood up from his chair and excused himself. I wanted to go as well but I came with Nash. So, no matter what, I had to wait for him. Soon, my phone rang.
I took it out from my pocket and Nash name appeared on the screen. I picked up the call.
"Hello, Sun. I think I have to go now. Got thing to do. Can you go home with Inn?" I had my jaw dropped hearing him.
"What? No!" I snapped.
"Settle your things, Sun. You want to fight with him for how long? He wants to talk to you. Listen to him first, okay,"
I was about to answer him when he ended the call already. I cursed in my head and put down the phone. I glanced over to Inn. He was smiling to me.
"Who is it?" he asked.
"Nash,"
"Why did he call?"
Why you need to ask if you already knew? "He got things to do,"
"Oh..."
Silence again. I averted my gaze to the water fountain outside of the restaurant. I would rather look at it than the guy in front of me.
"You're still mad at me?" the same question again.
I sighed. "No."
"You are."
"Up to you," I answered him. I didn't want to argue over this thing.
"I'm sorry."
I closed my eyes when he said that. I tried to find strength to confront with him. I knew the time had come. Nash was right. We had to settle the thing between us. I need to explain as well as him.
"It was a long time ago. I already forget about it," I said. I really was trying to forget.
"I shouldn't have called you a liar. I hurt you badly. I'm sorry again."
This time, I looked at him and nodded. "I should have told you the truth. What's the point of a friendship if I have to lie and couldn't be honest, right?"
Inn went silent for a while. He just looked at me before he let out a long sigh. "I admit that I was mad because you weren't being honest with me. But I wasn't mad at you because you are gay,"
I chuckled. "Isn't it a lie?"
"No. I'm telling the truth," he said sternly.
"Then, why you left me? You just disappeared like that. Without an answer. What do you think I would feel?" I wanted an answer. The one he should give me 3 years back.
He shook his head and looked passed my shoulder. "My parents..." he trailed off. "...they suddenly offered to send me to music's college. Back then, I was going back and forth whether to accept their offer or not. Besides, we were also fighting during that time. They told me when we were on holiday. I had to make a decision."
