Sun's POV
The sky outside was getting dark. I stretched out to loosen my muscles. I tilted my head from left to right. I stood up and started piling up my books to put them into my bag.
"I felt hungry," Inn blurted out. He was holding his bag in his right hand, waiting for me.
"So?" I asked him. I zipped my bag and pushed the chair under the table.
"Come with me," he ordered.
I looked at my watch and him. It's not that late. "Okay,"
We walked out the school and headed towards whatever place he wanted to. I didn't know where he would be taking me but, I hoped it was somewhere I was afforded to pay for my meal.
We walked side by side in silence. I just followed his steps, walking by the roadside. Later, a restaurant came to my view. There were a lot of people and we took a sit outside of the restaurant. It was already full at the inside. Inn called for the waiter and he came to take the order from us.
"Noodle soup," I told the waiter.
"Basil rice chicken," it was Inn.
He wrote it down in his note. "Drinks?" the waiter asked us.
"Iced green tea," Both Inn and I said at the same time. We looked at each other and burst into laughter.
The waiter looked at us with furrowing brows. I stared at him and said my order again, "Make it two,"
He nodded and left us to prepare our meals.
"Thought you would order strawberry milk,"
I shifted my eyes to Inn. "Can't resist green tea," I told him.
He chuckled, "Same here,"
I distracted myself to the cars on the road. We were eating at a restaurant by the roadside. The city is always busy. At night, in morning or in afternoon. Even midnight, there were still people driving on the roads. Getting to their destinations.
Soon, the server came with two glasses of our drinks and followed behind with our food. I took the chopsticks and dig in my noodles while Inn ate with a spoon.
The people inside the restaurant were talking and chattering with their friends and families. Some of the guys were cheering on football team that was showing on the tv. I didn't know what league was that. But I could hear someone shout ManU. Maybe it was the English League. Only the people outside of this restaurant were busy enjoying their food in silence, and scrolling their phones.
"What is your dream?" I didn't know where is that coming from, maybe just a random thought that I had.
Inn turned to look at me for a while. "Doctor, I guess." He then continued with his food.
"That is ambition. Your dream?" I asked again before I dipped my fork into my noodles.
Inn wasn't answering me right away. He was looking at the cars passing by the restaurant. I was quite surprised when he took me to have a meal here though. I thought the guy like him would eat at a fancy restaurant or hippie cafe.
"To be happy. To live the way I want it to be." Inn said. He took a glance at me and later took a sip on his drink. I nodded. Everyone wanted to live a happy life. But life isn't always perfect. There is always room for perfection because of the imperfection.
"If we could make the life the way we want, there is no such thing as fate then. But we can always make our life better if it turns out bad," I told him.
