"CAN YOU DO SOMETHING OR NOT?" Stiles demanded to Scott in the middle of the school day, at the werewolf's locker.

Scott didn't answer at first due to him focused on getting his books for his next class. Once he looked up at his best friend, he was shocked to see him nervously bouncing his leg and tapping his fingers against his jeans. "I can't do anything right now," he stated to Stiles' dismay.

"Why not?" he complained in a groan.

Scott shut his locker and fully turned his attention to Stiles, who had now caught sight of Sierra at the other side of the hallway. His whiskey eyes longingly stared after her as she smiled widely at Lydia and Scott followed his gaze with a sigh. "Stiles, I know seeing Isaac with Sierra this morning bugged you, but unless he threatens or harms her, I'm not going to start anything. Plus, because he can't be seen at school, there's no way that he can talk or see her anywhere else, okay?"

Stiles exhaled deeply but eventually nodded his head. "Okay," he answered reluctantly.

Scott gave him an encouraging pat on the back as he noticed the very girl they were conversing about start to head in their direction. "Hey," he lowered his voice and Stiles turned to look at him. "Think of it this way," Scott started. "Right now is a perfect chance to tell her how you feel. You don't want to wait too long and let the perfect opportunity to ask her out pass you by. Isaac doesn't deserve Sierra, you do. And you can't let the guy who is a fugitive right now sweep her off her feet."

"Sweep who off their feet?" Sierra interjected brightly, appearing by Stiles' side. The boy jumped slightly from her sudden entrance but quickly calmed himself down once he saw her smile.

"The Beast," Scott lied swiftly without missing a beat, referring to the Disney classic, and gave Stiles a knowing look. "He was swept off his feet by Belle once she arrived at the castle. I was telling him that the Best had a time limit to confess his feelings, you know, before all the petals fell off the rose and it was too late."

An annoyed expression was plastered on Stiles' face with his lips pursed and his eyebrows drawn together, but forced a grin to convince the dirty-blonde that Scott was telling the truth. She seemed to buy it as she released a chuckle. "I'm actually kind of shocked that all that information was correct," Sierra stated and then shrugged. "But you do you, boo." She turned her attention to Stiles. "You ready for free period?"

Stiles nodded, choosing to stay silent from his fear of blurting out something stupid. Scott smiled at the two, and told them he'd talk to them later after school. After hugging Sierra goodbye, Scott walked backwards, still facing Stiles. "Tell her," he mouthed dramatically and gave his buddy a cheesy thumbs-up before he headed to the library.

Stiles gulped as his eyes fell back on the girl in front of him, who was already staring while holding her textbook to her chest. "So, where do you want to go?" she asked him with a twinkle in her eye.

"We can go outside," he suggested nervously. "It's a pretty day out and I bet no one is taking advantage of it."

"It's a lot more peaceful out here when you and the lacrosse team aren't giving each other concussions," Sierra stated five minutes later. Sitting near the top of the metal bleachers, the two scanned the grassy green fields. The sun warmly cast its radiant rays over them, stretching across the gentle blue sky that was speckled with feathery clouds. Sierra relaxed her body, leaning back on the row above her, while Stiles sat sideways so he could face her.

He chuckled lightly, "More like everyone else getting concussions. I don't even play; Coach is still pissed that I missed that one game."

Flickering her cobalt eyes, she frowned and sat up to talk to him seriously. "Don't talk like that," she scolded and he tilted his head, squinting from the sun. "You are a great lacrosse player, Stiles," she told him. "Don't worry, when you get your chance you'll show everyone just how amazing I know you are."
