(Quick thing, please point out grammar mistakes. I try, but I don't see them all. Especially since I'm trying to get as much down before school starts...and I have to go... Enjoy!) :')

E. Schuyler's POV (Sorry, but she's a little salty.)

My morning was going pretty well—for a Monday. I'd spent most of the previous day practicing default phrases and smiles.

I knew I had a temper. I knew the cause too.

But I was the nice sister, and I planned to keep that up. I found one of my favorite blue dresses and paired it with white flats. The blouse was tight while the skirt twirled around my legs freely. I looked at it and thought about how great I'd look with a bun.

But no buns. Not anymore.

I took the front half and held it back with a blue ribbon. There. My hair was a nice, dark, silky brown, so it looked great in almost any hairstyle. I applied a light coat of lipgloss, grabbed my purse and laptop bag, then headed down.

The twins—Cornelia and Catherine were arguing over who took the last pack of Pop-Tarts to school. They were screaming and insulting each other, they were just about ready to fight to the death. Mom was desperately trying to reason with them—explain that since they were in the same class they could just share, and Dad was ransacking the pantry for another box. Peggy sat at the table, enjoying a bowl of Cocoa Puffs and cradling her poorly decorated laptop bag. There was no blue.

The district gave every high-schooler gave a laptop and a laptop bag. You can decorate it however as long as you return it in perfect condition before college.

"I thought I told you to fix that up," I muttered and sat down next to Peggy. She looked at me and shrugged.

"I like it. And it screams Peggy the Pig." She returned to her cereal and I just rolled my eyes. The twins kept arguing and I couldn't help but think that we badly needed a brother. After breakfast, Peggy and I walked to school. We lived on the opposite sided the town from plenty of people, so we only managed to pick up Sally, Teddy, and James on the way. Thomas was too stubborn and I was personally glad he declined the offer.

When we got to school, Peggy talked to some students, others treated me like the princess I am. We eventually made our way to the Revv Set's meeting place. Yes, it's  a lot of people, but that's why we went outside. When we got there, I sat on the blanket next to Maria. Peggy, Sally, James, and Teddy just plopped onto the grass. Laf, John, Martha, Junior, and Herc were already there.

"Mes amis," Laf announced. "I have some, how you say, news. John has some as well. But his is good and bad." They had everyone's attention so they began. "I have two new foster brothers!" Everyone cheered and I just clapped. I really didn't care. "Their names are Alexander and Phillip Hamilton!" Now I cared.

"Hamilton?" I clarified. Lafayette nodded their head excitedly. Peggy and Teddy jumped up and rushed to hug Laf.

"Alex is coming!" Peggy squealed. She actually liked Alexander. Unlike some people.

"Pip is coming!" Teddy swooned. She had a serious thing for Phillip. And she didn't even deny it since he wasn't here.

"You two know them? Are they from your, how you say, childhoods?" Teddy vigorously nodded and gave him a lopsided smile. They jumped up and down together, so Junior spoke up.

"Phillip was babysat by Mrs. Burr from practically the moment he was born," he explained. "Phillip's half a year older, but Mrs. Burr babysat the two of them with Alexander's help as soon as possible. Then when the Schuylers went down to the Caribbean for a vacation, the Sisters met them. Eliza even dated Alexander. They had to go to Virginia, and they haven't seen them since."
