Chapter 6

-Aspen's POV-

I got off the plane and got into my uber. The day before, I got a call from Daniel telling me what happened to Anna at the fair. I decided to come home a couple days early so I can be with Anna.

The uber finally arrived at the house and I ran up to the door.

I unlocked the door and immediately ran up the stairs and into Anna's room.

I opened the door and saw Daniel sitting on the bed cradling Anna in his arms.

I signaled him to leave and he got up off of the bed and left.

Anna looked up at me with puffy bloodshot eyes, I ran over to her and gave her a bear hug.

"Are you ok? I was so worried about you!" I said looking into her eyes.

"I'm fine I guess, but weren't you supposed to come home in 3 days?" Anna asked.

"Daniel called me yesterday and told me what happened. I couldn't wait 3 days to see you, I just wanted to make sure you were ok" I said.

"Oh...ok" Anna said sadly.

"Hey cheer up Anna, I have a surprise for you," I said trying to cheer up Anna.

"What is it?" Anna asked perking up.

"Stay up here, Daniel will come and get you when it's ready," I said standing up.

Anna nodded her head and I exited out of her room.

I've already told the boys about my plan yesterday when Daniel called me.

I ran downstairs and saw the boys huddled up.

"Daniel I'll send you up when her surprise is ready," I said as I opened the door.

He nodded his head as I walked out the front door.

I ran up to the uber driving up. The car door opened and out came Layla, Anna's best friend.

"How are you, Layla! It's so good to see you!" I said as I hugged her.

"I'm doing good, it's so nice to see you and Anna again!" Layla said hugging back.

"So you ready?" I asked her walking up to the door.

"So ready" She replied back smiling.

-Annabelle's POV-

Aspen left my room to get my surprise. So I sat quietly in my room trying to distract myself from the events that happened yesterday.

A couple minutes later Daniel opens the door.

"Hey, Anna ready for your surprise?" Dani said excitedly.

"I guess I am," I said slightly smiling at Dani's goofiness.

Dani took my hand and lead me out of my room and down the stairs. When we reached the bottom of the stairs Dani placed his hands over my eyes.

Dani turned me to face somewhere. I then heard the door open and people walking in. Dani then removed his hands and I opened my eyes.

I couldn't believe my eyes! It was Layla! We've been best friends since we were young, she was the only person at school who stood up for me. She's a year older than I am, so she left Utah to live in LA.

"Layla!" I said as I ran into her arms.

"Anna! I've missed you so much!" Layla said swinging me around.

"Here let me introduce you to the boys," I said with a giant smile on my face.

We turned to the boys and they smiled.
