Ocean Eyes [ COMPLETED ]

Chapter 18 Part 3

My eyes flutter open to see a small Australian Shepherd sitting in a little wicker basket with a giant red bow on top.

I pick up the puppy and it stares right at me. Her big ocean eyes remind me of Daniel. I spot a little card in the basket so I pick it up as I place the puppy in between my legs.

*Letter*

Anna,

You are the most amazing person I have ever meet. You are so sweet and I'm glad to call you mine. I love you so much and I hope you know that :)

I sat there with tears flowing down my face. I place the card down and the puppy back in its basket.

I jump up and run into Daniel's arms

"I love you so much, Dani!" I say into his chest.

We pull away, he wipes the tears from my cheeks with his thumbs and kisses me.

"I love you to the moon and back Anna" he replies smiling.

"What did I do to deserve you," I say.

"If anything I shouldn't be the one who deserves you," He says as he rubs my back.

The night was filled with fun, Mom, Dad, Uncle David and Aunt Lisa decided to leave.

We continued to party all throughout the night until about 3 in the morning.

I picked up the Lizzie and headed upstairs as Eben and August crashed on the couch.

I placed Lizzie in her cage as I quickly hopped into the shower, once I was done I threw on my PJs and headed straight to bed.

Right as I was about to shut off the lights, Daniel walked in shirtless.

He walked over to the other side of the bed, pulled the covers over his perfect body and pulled me onto his chest. I snuggled into his chest and wrapped my arms around his neck. His arms wrapped around my body and kissed my head.

"I love you baby, hope you had a great birthday," Daniel says smiling down at me.

I look up at him and peck his lips, "I love you too Dani, I had the best birthday thanks to you"

He smiles and hugs me tighter. My eyes slowly close and I begin to fall asleep.

"Good night Dani"

"Good night baby girl"

....

I know this is significantly shorter than my other parts but I had to work in a cliffhanger. I'm still writing Chapter 19, I don't know when it'll be finished since I have to perform this week for orchestra. I'll try to get it done but there aren't any guarantees.
