Ocean Eyes [ COMPLETED ]

Chapter 4

-Time skip a couple weeks-

I've lived in LA for 2 weeks now, and I'm loving it here! I've gotten to know the boys pretty well, especially Daniel. Jonah and I act like brother and sister since we're so close. Daniel and I have gone on a couple of dates since we "hung out". I'm starting to feel a connection between him and I.

After I showered, I threw on some clothes and headed downstairs. I noticed everyone was still asleep, so I began to cook some breakfast. It was only 8:20 so I didn't expect anyone to be up early.

I pulled out the pan and the ingredients, I then began to cook some scrambled eggs.

While I was cooking, I felt two warm arms wrap around my waist and soft kisses on the back of my neck. I looked back to see Daniel smiling at me.

"Good morning Anna," Daniel said giving me a big grin.

"Morning Dani" I replied back pecking his lips.

"Here let me help you make breakfast," Dani said grabbing some plates.

I thanked him and continued to cook.

"Morning Anna, morning Daniel," Jonah said shuffling into the kitchen.

"Whatever you're cooking smells really good Anna," Jack says as he's followed by the rest of the boys.

"Good morning boys," I said placing the food onto the plates.

"Wait, where's Aspen?" Corbyn then asks.

"She left early this morning to catch a flight back to Utah to spend some time with her family" I replied back handing everyone their food.

After everyone finished eating, we all went to our rooms to relax.

I went back to my room and laid on my bed. I stared at the ceiling for half an hour bored out of my mind, so I got up and went over to Dani's room.

I knocked on the doorframe and he looked up from his phone.

"Hey Anna," Dani said inviting me to sit with him.

I walked over to his bed and sat next to him. He then put his arm around my waist and we started to cuddle.

"Hey wanna watch some Netflix," I asked Dani.

"And chill?" Dani said giving me a weird face.

I gave him a look telling him "no"

"Ok ok, I get it. You don't have to give me a death stare Anna" Dani said laughing.

I laughed, "Ok so what show do you want to watch?"

"How about (Name of any show)" Dani asked.

"Sure, we can watch that" I responded.

He started to play the show, so I got comfortable and started cuddling with Dani.

About an hour later, Zach knocked on the door.

"Come in," Dani said as he paused the show.

Zach then opened the door.

"The guys and I were going to go swim for a while, we were wondering if you guys wanted to join us," Zach said standing at the door frame.

Dani looked at me and I nodded my head.

"Sure we'll join you guys, give us a couple of minutes to get ready" Dani replied back.

Zach nodded his head and left. I then walked over to my room to grab my bathing suit.

I got dressed in my bikini and headed downstairs and towards the pool.

"Wow, you look good in that bikini," Dani said winking at me.

"Thanks," I said blushing.

For a couple hours the boys were goofing around in the pool, tackling each other into the pool and chasing each other around the pool. I have to say, it was pretty amusing to watch them goof around.

I was laying down on a float while chaos ensues around me. Dani then popped up next to me from underwater.

"Hey, beautiful" Dani said giving me a smirk.

"What's with the face Dani," I said sitting up and laughing.

"Oh don't worry about it," Dani said laughing.

Before I could answer, Dani pulled me into the pool.

While we were underwater, he pulled me closer and kissed me. We smiled at each other and resurfaced.

"I'm going to go inside, I'm kinda tired and hungry," I said as I got out of the pool.

I went inside to change and find something to eat.

While I was sitting at the island eating, I got a text from Aspen.

(A - Annabelle, A - Aspen)

A: Just a reminder, you start your online classes tomorrow.

A: Thanks for that reminder! I almost forgot about that.

A: Hahaha. I'm going to be back in a week or so. Also, don't let the boys burn down the house while I'm gone.

A: Ok, I'll try but there's no guarantees

A: Haha funny Annabelle

I shut off my phone, washed my plate and headed upstairs.

After I showered, I threw on an oversized shirt and went to bed.

-Daniel's POV-

I began to feel tired after awhile, so I headed upstairs to go to bed. I noticed Anna had left her door open and her light on. So I walked over to her nightstand and right as I was about to turn the lights out I heard her mumble something.

I looked down and I saw her tossing and turning with tears streaming down from her eyes. I placed my hand on her cheek and she woke up. She sat up quickly and hugged me tightly.

"What's wrong Anna?" I asked her gently rubbing her back.

"I..I began having my nightmares again" she replied back sniffling.

"Do you want me to sleep with you tonight so I can comfort you?" I asked looking into her eyes.

"If you don't mind," she said quietly.

"Here, sit tight while I go get changed," I said.

She nodded her head, so I got up and walked to my room.

I took off my shirt and put on some fleece pants.

I shut off the light and headed back to Anna's room.

I closed the door behind me and went over to Anna's side.

I laid down, Anna turned off the lights and started to cuddle me. She then laid her head on my chest and fell asleep. I kissed the top of her head and fell asleep.

-Annabelle's POV-

After Daniel left my room, I sat on my bed shaking remembering how all of my nightmares. I stared at my covers trying to keep the dark thoughts from entering into my head, then I heard the door close. I looked up to see a shirtless Daniel standing at the door. He came over to the bed and lied down. I turned to my nightstand and shut the light, I then went over to Dani and cuddled with him.

After a couple minutes I placed my head on his chest, I could hear his heart beating. My eyes started to grow heavier and heavier with each beat of his heart, and before I knew it I was asleep. I felt safe in Dani's arms. I knew if something bad were to happen to me, Daniel would come save me no matter what.

School is starting in 3 days and I've only prewritten 2 chapters.  Uploads are going to be super slow btw.
