Chapter 17

-Daniel's POV-

Tomorrow's Anna's birthday, Christina, Aspen, Angi, the boys, Logan and I are getting everything prepared for her surprise party.

Aspen is going to take Anna out for a while when everyone else is setting up the decoration.

I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. The boys and I waited for Anna to come down, so we all sat down at the island talking. We then heard someone walking into the kitchen, we all looked up to see Anna.

"Good morning baby," I say as I walk over to her and give her a hug.

"Good morning Dani, good morning boys" Anna replies letting go of me and waving to the boys.

"Morning Anna" the boys harmonize.

-Annabelle's POV-

"Morning Anna" the rest of the boys harmonized.

"We made some breakfast for you," Jonah says getting up from the island and walking over to the counter.

"You guys shouldn't have!" I say pouting.

"Just because my birthday is tomorrow doesn't mean you have to do everything for me" I continue.

"It's a treat from us, and..." Corbyn says getting cut off by Logan storming into the house.

"It's your big day tomorrow!" Logan says finishing Corbyn's sentence.

"Logan!" I say running up to him and bear-hugging him.

"Hey Anna, long time no see," He says as he sets down the camera.

I walk back to the plate full of food and begin to eat. The rest of the boys eat as well as they talk about touring.

"Anna get changed, we're going out!" Corbyn says as I place my dish into the sink.

I nod my head and run upstairs and quickly get changed, not forgetting to do my hair and makeup.

I walk back downstairs, the boys stand by the door waiting for me. Once I reach the door, we all walk out and enter the uber awaiting us.

The uber drives us to the mall 25 minutes away. We get out and I spot an animal shelter.

-Daniel's POV-

I spot an animal shelter on the far right of the mall, I need a distraction so I can go over there.

I quickly text Jonah while everyone is talking.

(D - Daniel, J - Jonah)

D: There's an animal shelter on the right of the mall, and I was thinking about getting the puppy. Can you come with me?

J: Sure, but how are we going to off from the group?

D: I don't know, we need to make something up.

J: I've got something, go with it when I say it

I shut off my phone and look at Jonah.

"I gotta go to the bathroom, so I'm going to go look for one" Jonah says as he slowly walks towards me.

"I've gotta go too, you guys go without us. We can meet at the food courts later" I say as I trail behind Jonah.

"Nice distraction dude," I say to him as we walk away from the crowd.

"No problem," Jonah says smiling at me.
