The ambulance finally got to the hospital, the pulled Anna out of the back and rushed her in.

I ran along her side still holding her hand.

"Sir you need to go to the waiting room," one of the nurses said.

I wanted to argue, but I knew that they didn't want any distractions.

I walked over to the waiting room and sat down.

I placed my head into my hands. So many thoughts went through my head.

Will Anna make it? Is she going to be ok? Is she going to die? What would my life be like without her?

No. She will make it, I know she will. She's strong. I tried to shake the thoughts out of my head but I couldn't.

"Daniel!" I heard someone yell.

I looked up to see the boys and Logan running into the room.

"Is she ok?" Jonah asked.

"I don't know, they didn't let me in," I said looking down.

"Have you checked in?" Logan asked.

I shook my head.

"I should go do that," I said as I stood up.

Everyone signed in and we sat back down in the waiting room.

It was 12:56 in the morning, I was super tired but I couldn't sleep. I was too worried about Anna.

"Are the friends of Annabelle Loeffler here?" A nurse asked walking into the waiting room.

We all immediately jumped up, "We're here"

"She can only take 1 visitor for now," the nurse said.

I looked at the boys and they nodded their heads.

"I'll go," I said stepping forward

The nurse nodded and I followed her down the hall to Anna's room.

She opened the door and there she was, hooked up to a bunch of machines. I looked up to see the doctor, he started to walk over to me.

We talked for a bit and he then explained to me Anna's situation.

"Annabelle here suffered a mild concussion when she hit the floor. Her cheek should be fine, she's lucky she didn't hurt anything else. Also, the bruise on her face will go away after about a week or so" the doctor explained.

I nodded my head and walked over to the bed, I pulled the chair over to her bed and sat down. I heard the door close but I kept my eyes on Anna.

I held her hand and rested my head on the bed. I felt my eyes grow heavier and heavier with every passing second.

-Annabelle's POV-

Everything was black, I didn't know where I was. All I heard was talking, then I felt presence come over to my side.

"I love you," a voice said weakly.

Daniel? I wanted to respond to him, but I couldn't.

I felt tears drop onto my shoulder and a hand grab mine. His head rested near my hand.

*A couple hours later*

My eyes slowly fluttered open, I realized I was at the hospital.

I looked down at my hand and saw Daniel, he looked so peaceful.

I untangled my hand from his and played with his hair.

His eyes slowly fluttered open, he rubbed his eyes and looked up.

"Anna, you're awake!" Daniel said as he gave me a bear hug.

I hugged him back, then I felt a few tears drop onto my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I broke my promise..." Daniel said while his voice cracked.

"No Daniel you didn't, you never broke your promise" I responded holding his face in my hands.

"But I let him hurt you," He said quietly.

"That doesn't matter Daniel, the only thing that matters is that you came back for me" I replied back wiping the tears from his face with my thumb.

"I will always come for you no matter what," Daniel said kissing my forehead.

"I love you, Daniel"

"I love you too Anna"

....

Hey, I'm back, school has been crazy. I've prewritten a couple chapters, and I have a 3 day weekend so I have some time to write some more.
