Chapter 10 Part 1

*2 Weeks Later*

The doctor told me that I could check out later today. I'm glad I can leave, I couldn't stand lying in bed hooked up to machines doing nothing.

"You ready to leave?" The nurse asked as she walked into my room.

I nodded my head, she walked over to my bed and started to disconnect all of the machines hooked up to me.

Daniel then walked into the room as the nurse was pulling the last of the IVs out.

"I already checked you out, so let's go home," Daniel said extending his arm.

I gladly took it and we walked out of the hospital.

*Back at the WDW house*

Daniel helped me out of the uber and we walked over to the door.

He opened the door for me and I walked in. The boys immediately ran over and tackled me into a group hug.

"We've missed you so much!" Jonah and Corbyn said.

Logan then came strolling in.

"Anna, you're back!" Logan said as he gave me a bear hug.

"I've missed you too Logan" I laughed.

"Anna you're back?!" I heard a familiar voice say from the back of the group.

"Layla?!" I asked confused.

Layla squeezed her way through the crowd of boys.

She immediately hugged me.

"I didn't think you would be back this soon" she replied pulling away.

Layla was acting kinda weird, but I brushed it off.

"You should rest Anna," Jonah said.

I nodded and I started to walk towards the stairs. I tried to step up onto the step but I guess I underestimated how weak I really was.

"Here let me help you," Daniel said as he picked me up bridal style.

He carried me into my room and laid me on the bed. He pulled the covers over me and kissed my forehead.

"Rest up," Daniel said as he walked out the door.

The door shut and I fell asleep.

*A couple hours later*

-Daniel's POV-

The boys and I are relieved that Anna's finally home.

Logan went home and Layla decided to stay for some reason.

I find it kinda weird that Layla has been coming to the house ever since she heard Anna was in the hospital.

The boys and I brushed it off thinking it was nothing.

I was sitting on my bed looking at my phone when I heard a knock.

"Come in," I said as I looked up.

"Hey Daniel," Layla said drawing out the y.

"Uh hey Layla, what's up?" I ask sitting up confused.

She closed the door and sat down next to me.

Layla was fidgeting with her fingers, she looked nervous. But what was she nervous about?

Then she did something I never expected her to do.

She grabbed the back of my neck and smashed her lips onto mine.

I was in shock but when I came to my senses, I tried to pull away but I couldn't. She pulled me closer to her, she had a strong grip on me. She then placed my hand on my face and held it there.

I struggled to escape her grasp but every time I did she would tighten her grip.

I then heard the door open.

-Annabelle's POV-

I finally woke up from my nap, it was around 6:30 in the evening so I got up and went downstairs.

"Hey guys," I said as I rubbed my eyes.

"Hey Anna, do you feel any better?" Zach asked.

"Yeah I'm feeling a lot better" I replied.

"Where's Daniel and Layla" I questioned.

"I don't know, we'll help you look for them," Jonah said as the boys and I followed.

We walked upstairs and saw that Daniel's light was on.

The boys, Jonah and I walked up to Daniel's door and opened it.

My heart dropped, there he was kissing Layla.

We just stood there in shock. I didn't know what to do.

"This isn't what it looks like!" Daniel yelled as he pushed Layla off of him.

"Ok, then what does it look then?!" Jonah yelled.

"I can explain everything!" Daniel said jumping to his feet and running to us.

I couldn't think, I ran to my room and grabbed my backpack, some clothes, and some other necessities.

I ran out of the house bawling my eyes out. I just kept running, I never wanted to look back.

After I calmed down, I called Logan.

"Hey what's up Anna?" Logan said.

"Hey, can I stay at your place for a while?" I ask as my voice cracked.

"Is something wrong?" Logan asked concerned.

"I'll explain everything when I get to your place" I replied.

"Ok, tell me where you're at so I can send an uber to where you," Logan said.

"Ok, thank you" I replied back before hanging up.

I sat on the sidewalk of a random neighborhood, I didn't know where I was. All I know is that I don't want to go back to the house, not now.

The uber driver pulled up to the sidewalk, I jumped in.

As I sat there, trying to piece together everything I had seen in the past hour and a half.

Why would Dani kiss my best friend? Well, I guess she isn't my best friend anymore. Was she even my friend in the first place?

So many questions circled around my brain.

I felt so broken inside, why would Dani do this to me. Was I not enough? Did he even love me?

I'm back from my short vacation :)
