"We are one."

23 3 1

There are two things in a mirror;
the reflection,
and the reflected.
It's a connector of those two,
bringing them together,
like long lost brothers.

The reflected would touch the mirror,
thus touching the reflection;
"We are one."
The reflection would not say it,
but would move its mouth.

When you look at a mirror,
your reflection stares back.
When you place your right hand on it,
your reflections presses its left against it.

The parting of your hair is on your left,
While your reflection's is on their right.
Your scar is on your right cheek,
While your reflection's is on their left.

The reflected can speak,
the reflection move their lips without a word.
The reflected can listen;
perhaps the reflection has the ability as well.
It might be listening to your every word,
whilst its own can't be heard.

Observe your reflection.
"We are one."
Yet not the same.
But it listens.
And you are both in the mirror.
