I didn't mean to leave you hurt
We were perfect at the start
But at last, the hidden spurt.
You can scream all you like
But I'm telling the truth
Through the years that we hike
It was all in our youth.
It's not you, it's me
I feel you don't deserve my kind
I do not show honesty, nor loyalty
I hope you'll move on, leave our love behind.
I cannot handle seeing you cry
I cannot bring myself to understand
We just don't anymore see eye to eye
You will have to release my hand.
I'm doing this for you, I won't regret
To end your torment and see you smile
Our memories together I'll never forget
In another world, we'll reconcile.
So I'll let you attack me
I am the guilty one
Even if you don't see
This is not for fun.
Forget it all, we've gone through enough
All this time we're no good, and now we're done
One day you'll find the one that you love
And I hope for your happiness with your only one.
