Have you ever felt the burn?
Have you ever felt the heat?
Whenever that feeling returns,
You need to be discreet.
Beware of the unheard whispers,
Planting hatred in your heart,
And once the flames disperse,
They break strong bonds apart.
A single word can lead to hate,
Or a furious outburst,
No matter what it can create,
Fear and prevent the worst.
The flames of a raging fire,
Sparking up inside,
Rising and rising ever higher,
No longer able to hide.
Unable to control the flames,
Burning in your soul,
Impossible to either kill or tame,
It will char your heart to coal.
Cool it with a gentle breeze,
Die it down with water,
Stay ever patient and stay at ease,
Begin with little totters.
Once it comes, express it not,
With acts of your own desire,
Tame it at once if it's burning hot,
Anger's raging fire.
