Don't ignore the bruises,
They return to haunt.
Don't turn away from scars,
They appear to taunt.Don't cover your ears,
The voices try to help.
Don't shield your eyes,
From fear of seeing yourself.Don't turn back your way,
The path is already gone.
Don't reach out for them,
Who has left you last dawn.Don't try to stay hidden,
They'll find you one day.
Don't try to search it,
They'll lead you astray.Don't go down new roads,
Stay on your tracks.
Don't stop for a second,
And never look back.Let bruises and scars heal,
Under rays of moonlight.
Let yourself see the surreal,
As you rest for the night.
