I never realised
How long it has been
Since we locked our eyes
In the soothing wind.I never imagined
How fast it has grown
The distance between us
Ending up alone. We're two different faces
In two different worlds
Walking different paces
On paths bent and curled. We're nothing special
Interlocking fingers
We're two creations
Like others, we linger. There's no more 'we'
You must be acknowledged
And drastically
My heart is left bandaged.Who's fault is it?
Of course it's not yours
It doesn't fit
As you left me with more.It must be mine
I'll take the blame
Just give me time
I'll take the pain.Let the past fade
In the mist and the storm
Memories has frayed
But more will be born.
