twenty four ; my love

AUDREY

All I could remember was darkness. Nothing but darkness, pain and blood. I whipped my head backwards, making the bag over my head go flying off of me. Yet it was still pitch black, but only for a second before a spot light was switched on, and pointing straight down at an empty chair in front of me. I could hear shuffling as someone walked towards the light, grunting.

A body was set on the chair, and a gloved hand tied the bodies hands to the arms of the chair, and that's when I realized that I to was tied. I jerked my whole body around, attempting to escape.

The body across from me began moving, groaning and slowly lifting their head up to face me, but they also had some sort of bag over their head. Their hands balled into a fist as they flailed, realizing they were in a fucked situation. I kept my cool, hoping this person was just a stranger.

My thoughts immediately faded, as the sudden feeling of someone grabbing my hair and yanking my head back startled me. Sudden pain had always scared me. I gasped and shrieked, hearing a chuckle from the person harming me. "Fuck you," I spat, trying my best to lean my head towards where they held it, so that I'd feel less pain. The more I leaned back, the harder he pulled.

He shoved my head forward, causing me to groan in pain, and pay attention to him walking over to the other person. The figure turned, showing me that chilling mask, laughing coldly. The other person still moved slowly, careful not to hurt.

The killer suddenly ripped the back off their head, revealing Harley, with slashes and bruises all over her body. Her bottom lip was split in half, while her eye socket was broken. "Oh, my god."

I flailed around in my chair as he circled her, taunting me with a knife in hand. He wants you to beg. To cry. You cannot let him win. You can't make him satisfied with the things he does to people. He's waiting for your reaction.

I watched as he placed his hand on Harley's shoulder, and brought his gloved hand up to slap her across her face. She whimpered and let out a sob, blood dripping from the reopened wound on her lip. Think about all the times Kieran and Piper probably laughed together because of all your cries. Don't—

"Stop!"

His attention immediately turned to me, getting in my face as his heavy breaths were heard clearly to me. "I'll let you do whatever you want to me, if you'll let her go and never harm her again," I begged. He laughed.

"It's not you that I want anymore, Audrey."

I gave him a confused look, trying to understand why he would want to harm Harley, as she knew no one in this town before. "It's Harley. Soon, you'll understand," he told me, turning around and walking to Harley.

"What do you mean by that?" I yelled, as he slowly faded away. "Stop, what do you mean!"

No matter how many times I screamed, it was as if I was muted. It went from yelling, to full on screaming bloody murder, but it was too late. I couldn't save her.

Arms were holding me down as I practically seized around like a maniac. I let my senses flood through in hopes of understanding that I was awake, staring at the ceiling past Harley. I could feel the sweat dripping off my face and down my chest as I panted. Harley rolled off of me, looking extremely concerned and confused. "Audrey?"
