A ending brings a begining: part 2

Everything was perfect until I see a blond head walking in. It's Alexis! (Ha I probably scared you there hehe). She's my old friend from my school. I smile and tell Logan I get up and walk over to her.
"Hey how's it going," I ask she looks confused but then it clicks.
"Omg Tessa Tessa Brooks?" Alexis asks.
"Yeah what are you doing in California?"
"I work as a lawyer and my job brought me here only for the summer though," Alexis says. I can't wait for the summer in a week!
"Cool we should Jan out again here's my number but I have to get back to my date see ya later," I say and walk away. Logan looks pissed.
"What?" I ask. "Did I spend to much time talking to her I'm sorry I haven't seen her in along time." Logan doesn't speak until a minute later.
"It's not that but why didn't you tell me you dated Jake?" Logan asks looking still pissed. I don't like excuses so I say what I know.
"Because you broke my heart. Jake was there and stayed with me," I tell him right in the eye he looks away like I over powered him.
"I didn't know," Logans face turns sad.
"Why would you broke up with me in text for something that never happened until after we broke up," I say as I'm the one pissed and payed for the check. I start walking out and Logan quickly caught up.
"Tessa I'm sorry I will never do that again. Why'd you come back if I broke your heart?"
"Because I still love you my love will never go away," I say hoping I don't need to say the rest.
"I believe you with that but you wouldn't just leave Jake. What's the full truth?" Logan asks me dang I'm caught.
"When I said I didn't get your message till that day is because Jake deleted it without me knowing. I only saw it because I was deleted all my conversations from the trash. There you know the truth. I just wan to go home," I say and start to walk again.
"I'm going to beat his a**" Logan said. We both get into the car and he apologized again for bringing up the topic. I'm tired now so I didn't hold a big grudge. I fell asleep on his shoulder.
Logan p.o.v
I hate that Jake would do that. I'll see him tomorrow but tonight it's Tessa's first night and I want her to feel safe. She ended up falling asleep on my shoulder and I picked her up. I carried her to my apartment and laid her in bed. I got in and snuggled next to her with my arm around her. She woke up and faced me.
"I'm sorry I got mad I didn't really wanted to talk about team ten or Jake it's still hard," Tessa said.
"I understand. When do we tell the Logang about us and you living with me?" I ask her.
"Probably tomorrow but I'm tired," Tessa said.
"Me too. Tessa"
"Yes"
"I love you," I say.
"I love you too Logan," Tessa said and fell asleep on my chest in my arm. I can't wait to be with her finally. Without Jake without team 10 just me and her.
