Chapter 21

Alex's pov

It's been about a week since I found out Colton was in a bet to make me fall in love with him. I am not really mad I know I should be but I honestly don't think I am. Yeah I'm hurt and disappointed but that is life. I haven't really talked to him since I found out because I honestly don't know what to say. He has apologized about sixty times but I just don't know what to do.

Colton's pov

Alex hasn't talked to me since the day she found out. I can't blame her I wouldn't want to talk to me either.

"Hey dude I need to talk to you." John says as he is walking toward my locker.

"Okay what is it?" I'm annoyed I honestly don't want to listen to him.

"I just want to tell you about Alex."

"What about her?" I snapped back.

"I just want to tell you she is an amazing human being and I missed up but you,you have a chance to be with a girl that will give you the entire world and more. Something's you might need to know she loves fuzzy blankets, she likes animals, she doesn't like to be hot, she loves to sleep, and she just loves the little things. She will love you more than  anything and she will put you first. She loves hugs so make sure you give them to her because she will be too nervous to ask. She loves movies but she always thinks the books are better. She doesn't like lettuce so if something other than a salad comes with lettuce ask for it without it. Don't ask questions about her dad she will tell you in time. I  regret letting her go but I'm happy she found someone like you. I know she is happy. Don't hurt her because it will literally take everything you are to see her sad. If you ask her what's wrong and she doesn't answer don't push her to say anything, just let her be. She is absolutely amazing and she will give you all the love in the world. I missed up but you have a chance so don't miss up." I am in shock that John is trying to help me.

"She still won't talk to me. I don't know what to do. " I feel a little pathetic but I don't really care.

"Tell her how much you care about her. She just needs reassurance."

"Thank you!" I yelled as I basically ran down the hallway to find Alex.

I somehow make it down two sets of stairs without falling. I finally see her.

"Alex!" I shout.

"Colton what are you doing?"

"Listen I'm so sorry. I know you have all the reasons in the world  to be mad at me. I promise you that when I tell you I love you I do. I love you so much. It physically hurts hurts me to know I've hurt you. I'm so sorry Alex." Her eyes are full of tears. I don't know if she is upset or not.

Alex finally takes a step toward me. She wraps her arms around me and hugs me tight.

"It is okay. I forgive you but don't ever do that again. I missed you." She said laughing.

"I missed you too. I promise this will never happen again." I said smiling.

I hope you enjoyed I know this chapter isn't good but I've been busy. I know this chapter is very short and I'm sorry. I've had a lot of homework to do and I didn't really have a lot of time to write this week.

If I have time later today I will update again but I'm not sure I will try.

Next update will be on the 3rd. Next week I will be doing two chapters.
