*Few weeks later at the airport.*
I'm waiting on Cody's plane to land. I'm still not sure why he didn't fly in a few days earlier. He's going to be jet lagged and trying to get on a bull and it's not going to work. I'm staring out the window watching the airplanes fly by when I feel someone wrap their arms around my waist and pull me to them. I look up to see Cody grinning at me. I grin and turn around and wrap my arms around him and bury my head in his chest. He kisses the top of my head and whispers, "Missed you, too."
I pull my head back from his chest and kiss him real quick and say, "Can we please go get lunch? I'm starving."
He laughs at me and says, "Let me go grab my stuff, Bug. Then we'll go eat wherever your heart desires."
I grin and start to drag him over to the baggage claim. We grab his stuff and head to the hotel to drop it off.

*At the hotel*
"Star, Cody wait up." Lane yells at us.
I groan and mumble, "Any day, Laney. I'm starving."
We get on the elevator and go to the floor Cody's room is on. He drops his bags off while Lane and I talk.
"Your not staying in here are you?" Lane asks me.
I laugh and shake my head no. "Dad and Uncle C would kill me. Doesn't matter that we usually sleep together in Australia with dad being here it's not going to happen."
"Your right dad would kill someone. He probably wouldn't kill you because your his princess but he might would kill Cody." Lane states.
Cody steps out of his room and says, "Whose gonna kill me?"
Lane snickers and mumbles, "Dad and Uncle C if they catch you and Star sleeping together."
Cody grins and states, "I've been sleeping with your sister on and off for years."
I pop him on the chest and quickly inform him not to say stuff like that with my brother around. He doesn't need to know what his sister is doing while she's in Australia.
Lane grins and says, "You mean I don't need to know who your doing in Australia."
I look at Lane shocked as Cody starts laughing at him. I pop Lane on the arm and state, "To be technical, I've only ever slept with one Australian and thats Cody. I don't count Brandon because he was born in the States and moved to Australia when he was 2 and came back to the States when he was 14."
Lane throws his hands up and slowly starts walking to the elevator. I roll my eyes at him and look at Cody. He smiles at me and I grab his hand and pull him to the elevator.

We finally sit down to eat when my phone starts going off. I see its dad and excuse myself to go answer the phone call. I tell dad where we're at and start heading back to the table when I over hear the conversation the boys are having.
Lane says, "Look I know you and my sister have a past. There's no doubt in that just by how you two act. I, also, know that the past isn't what everyone else thinks it is. So saying that if you hurt her don't think I won't come after you. Star deserves the best and if your not going to give her that then you need to leave her like right now."
Cody laughs and says, "I expected to have this conversation soon but I was expecting it from Trevor not you Lane. I know this PBR contracting deal has made it to where Star and you haven't gotten along here recently. I don't plan on hurting your sister. Hell I've had a crush on her since we first met. It's taken us years to finally get together and I don't plan on ruining it."
Lane nods his head and says, "All I'm asking is don't hurt her. She's gone through enough and I don't think any of us could handle you being the one that hurt her. She cares for you and she always has. Just try not to move too fast. I guess I'm just saying take it slow with my sister."
Cody smiles at Lane and says, "Is this your way of saying I have your approval with dating your sister?"
Lane laughs and nods his head. "I guess she told you we all finally agreed to the stock contracting deal?"
Cody nods and tells Lane what all I have told him so far about the stock contracting deal. I sit down at the table and smile at the boys. Lane asks, "Everything okay? Dad had you on the phone for like 10 minutes."
I laugh and inform him that Trevor is mad at us because we left to go eat without him.
"He'll get over it. He can go eat with dad. Plus I had a good conversation with your boyfriend." Lane tells me.
I raise an eyebrow at look at both of them. "Should I be worried?" I ask them.
"Nah. I just made sure he knew what would happen if you get hurt." Lane informs me.
I groan and look at Cody. "Sorry, Code." I quickly say to him.
He shrugs his shoulders and I give Lane a dirty look. Lane grins at me and leans over to kiss me on the cheek. I squeal and rub at my cheek. "I hope you see what your getting involved with Cody. She's a little goofy." Lane says.
I give him another look as Cody puts his arm around me.
Cody nods and quickly tells Lane he knows how I am.
I see our waitress approach so I stay quiet and don't say anything. We order our food and wait on it to be served.

*Later that afternoon at Bridgestone Arena*
I'm walking back to the locker room to take Cody and Fraser some water when I start to feel like someone is watching me. I keep walking but I do a quick check behind me to see if anyone is there. I don't see anyone but I still get this weird feeling. I'm not paying a bit of attention where I'm going and I run into someone. I hear a laugh and a male voice say, "We have to stop meeting like this."
I quickly look up and see Jake. I kinda smile at him and say, "Umm yeah we do." His hands are on my hips and I try to back up so he's not touching me anymore but he keeps a strong grip on them. I whimper and pray someone comes by soon.
"I'm going to tell you one time and one time only Jake get your hands off of my girlfriend." Cody harshly states. Jake removes his hands from my hips and I quickly move to Cody's side. He wraps his arm around me and pulls me close to him. I bury my head into Cody's chest which I can feel rumble as he tells Jake to not touch me ever again. I hear Jake telling him he just stopped me from falling over because we ran into each other. Cody starts to pull back from me as he harshly tells Jake that what he says may be true but he had no reason to put his hands on my hips. That I shouldn't have been whimpering either. I tighten my arms around Cody so he doesn't move anymore and he doesn't do anything stupid. I hear Jake mumble an apology before he says he's going to the locker room. Cody kisses the top of my head and whispers, "You okay, bug?" I nod my head.
"Are you sure? I shouldn't have let you go off by yourself." He says to me.
I mumble, "I'm fine. Can we just go back to the locker room and give Fraser his water?"
He nods and then allows me to detach myself from him. We walk down to the locker room.
