*Later after the event.*
As I'm walking down the hall I hear someone yell Shedeman! Wait up.
I turn to see Friday Wright walking in my direction. I smile and say hey fri!
Friday looks at the case of beer I'm carrying and says you want me to carry that?
I shake my head and inform him that I got it. It was my week to buy beer for the crew.
Friday nods and says just wanted to check up on you. Last weekends ride wasn't the best in the world and your ride tonight wasn't that great either.
I smile at him and state always the worrier Fri. I'm fine. I have a lot on my mind and it's affecting my concentration. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be back to being the famous Starlee Hedeman that everyone knows and loves.
Friday grins and says good. With you riding the way you are it's scaring a lot of us. We've never known you to make a lot of careless mistakes like you have been.
I nod and mumble thanks fri. Glad to have a friend like you.
Friday shakes his head and says, "Star, we're just worried. Your a 6 time world champion bull rider but even the best of the best go through rough patches."
I laugh and say but not everyone is having to live up to being Tuff Hedeman's kid and a world champion.
Friday says, "True but your a hell of a amazing world champion. You've always been a fan favorite and your one hell of a sponsor to the guys that are on Team SLAM.  Whatever is going on will pass over and you'll be back on top of the world."
I nod and tell him thanks.
Friday tells me if you need anything let me or Morgan know. We love you Star.
I tell him I love y'all too, Friday. Thanks for being the sweet couple y'all are and for caring for me.
Friday says it's the least we can do Starlee. You've been there at times when no one else was.
I smile at him and nod my head and tell him that's what friends are for. I better get the beer to the boys before they start blowing my phone up asking where I'm at.
I walk off and head inside the meeting room we are hanging out in at the hotel we're staying at.
I stop and hand Cody Teel the beer and kiss his cheek. He smiles at me and says took you long enough sis. We were starting to wonder if you forgot where we were staying at.
I laugh and tell him he's funny. Now where is your significant other at?
Teel points and states over there with all the other girls. Your stuff is back behind them on the table. I was nice and went and got you some ice, too.
I tell him thanks and walk to the table to make my drink. When I finish that I go over to where Kaitlin and the other girls are.
Amber looks at me and asks what are you drinking?
Kaitlin groans and says straight crown with a little ice.
I grin and state cowgirls are made of whiskey on ice. I look at Amber and tell her I'm not a big fan of beer even know I will drink it. It's not often I drink anything fruity unless I'm at the beach. I'm not much of a tequila drinker.
Kaitlin starts giggling and quickly blurts out we don't let her have vodka either! She'll be on the floor crying her eyes out.
I give her an evil look and remind her it only happened one time.
Kaitlin laughs and says she's not allowed to have her phone after she makes a couple drinks. She will and has sent text messages and made phone calls that should have never been made.
I look at her and grin and say I have NEVER ever sent out text messages I shouldn't send while drinking. A drunk person's words are a sober person's thoughts.
Kaitlin raises an eyebrow and states is that what your calling it now? She points at my drink and states I'll remind you of that after you've had a couple of those to drink.
I grin and tell her maybe it's best to take my phone if I start to get out of hand.
Kaitlin nods and says with everything your dealing with it probably will be. We don't need you texting people and cussing them out because you don't agree with what they are wanting to happen.
Lexi looks at us and says are you still not agreeing with what they want to happen with PBR so y'all can stock contract for them?
Amber gives a funny look and says, "Y'all are trying to stock contract with the PBR?
I nod my head at her.
Amber says do you not agree with them or something.?
I shake my head and look at the girls and tell Lexi and Kaitlin we will talk about it later. I then look at Amber and tell her it's personal issues. I don't want to really talk about it.
Amber nods and mumbles sorry. I don't want to step on your toes since I'm new around all of y'all.
I grin and tell her it's fine. As you said your new. Lexi and Kaitlin have been around me forever. They are the sisters I never had the chance of getting; that's why they know a lot more about what's going on. Plus they know how to read me.
Kaitlin grins and says we usually know what she's thinking too. There have been many a times with our quick thinking we've gotten her out of trouble.
I laugh and state like the night Mason proposed to Lexi?
Lexi laughs and says Kait about tackled Star to the ground when Star decided she was tired of keeping it quiet that he was going to propose.
I laughingly say he was taking too long. I was just ready to have him propose so we could start planning a wedding.
Kaitlin nods and says 1 and a half more months!
I look at Kaitlin and say then your turn right?!?!
Kaitlin says one day Starlee one day.
Amber looks at me and says what about you?
I laugh and inform her I won't ever get married again.
She looks at me with big eyes and says what?!?
I nod and tell her I don't believe in love. I don't believe in romance or fairytales.
Kaitlin and Lexi roll their eyes at me. Kaitlin mumbles here she goes on this rant again.
I give her a look and state plus who would want me? I'm broken. I've been abused by an ex and I've been cheated on one to many times so I see no reason to ever fall in love again. I'll just get hurt and have to deal with the pain all over again. Plus most guys want a woman that later in life can carry a child for them. I can't.
Kaitlin says actually you can try and you know that. Your doctors have never actually said you couldn't, Star.
I roll my eyes and look at Amber and state I would have a high risk pregnancy. My doctors have told me that it would be a miracle if I carried full term. I'd probably go on bed rest way before most women do. What man would want to deal with that? I can't name many.
Amber says but if he truly loves you then he would.
I quickly chug my drink and harshly state a man truly loving me? Ha that's funny. I'll believe it when I see it. I quickly get up and go make another drink.
Kaitlin looks at Amber and apologizes. She tells Amber this is all hard on Star. She doesn't believe a man will love her for who she is. She thinks all men are the same.
Amber states but their not!
Lexi nods and says, "We know. The right one will come along and see Star for what she's worth."

*Later on*
Lexi says, "Star, who are you texting?"
I state a couple of the PBR guys. They want to know if they can get on some practice bulls before their event this coming weekend. I'm gonna go tell Lane then I'm heading off to bed.
I get up and go find Lane.
Kaitlin looks at Lexi and says there's more to that statement than what she's saying. She's texting someone else also.
Lexi nods and says we shouldn't bother her about it. There's no telling who all she's actually texting. She hasn't had that much to drink so she should be fine.
