Joking around with Jasmine you two headed into the great hall for breakfast. "So anyway, apparently Harry and Ron did take down that troll." Jasmine sat as you two sat down. You rolled your eyes at your best friend as you began to eat, after a bit Jasmine elbowed you. "Snape's talking to Harry." You looked up momentarily before shrugging.

"Harry has a quidditch game today Jasmine, Snape is probably wishing him good luck or something." Jasmine raised an eyebrow at you before shrugging it off and eating.

"Just saying it's weird, shouldn't he be wishing Slytherin good luck?" You sighed and looked at Jasmine with a 'Are you serious?' expression. "Just a thought (Y/N)." Finishing up with your breakfast you quickly caught up with Draco as he made his way to the quidditch game. You stood next to Draco and of course Crabbe and Goyle- Jasmine was next to you whispering things about a quidditch game she went to.

"Hello and welcome to Hogwarts first quidditch game of the season. Todays game- Slytherin vs Gryffindor!" You heard someone announce from over in the professor's stand. You and Jasmine cheered along with everyone else as the player's flew around. "The players take their positions as Madam Hooch steps onto the field to begin the game!"

You watched as Madam Hooch said something to the players before she kicked the box. "The Bludgers are up, followed by the Golden Snitch." You could slightly make out a quickly golden ball that flew around the seekers. "Remember, the Snitch is worth 150 points. The Seeker who catches the Snitch ends the game." You watched Madam Hooch pick up the Quaffle and throw it into the air. "The Quaffle is released and the game begins."

As soon as that as announced the players swarmed in the middle to get the Quaffle before a player from Gryffindor got it, the Gryffindor player avoided Slytherin players and unfortunately for your house Gryffindor scored. "Angelina Johnson scores! Ten points for Gryffindor!"

"Slytherin takes the Quaffle. Bletchley passes to Captain Marcus Flint." You watched Marcus bodge the bludgers before kicking a Gryffindor player sending her spinning away. Marcus almost scored if it wasn't for Oliver Wood. Gryffindor got the ball again and sadly with a lot of passing scored. "Another ten points to Gryffindor!" You shook your head as all of Gryffindor was cheering. Slytherin seemed a little defeated at this point.

Once again Slytherin had the Quaffle and was close to scoring- You'll admit Gryffindor does have a really strong quidditch team and it seems almost impossible to score with Oliver Wood as the their keeper. You groaned before something caught your attention, Marcus took the bat off a beater and hit the bludger straight at Oliver making him fall through the goal and to the ground.

You rolled your eyes as Draco laughed as well as his two friends. You were right without Oliver as keeper Slytherin scored, you shrugged knowing that beaters are meant to hit the bludgers at the opposite team- so Slytherin is actually playing right. Getting over your worry you cheered with the rest of your house as Slytherin got ten points.

You glanced over at your best friend and saw she was standing with her arms crossed barely even watching the game. Turning your attention back to the field you watched another Gryffindor player go through the fabric of one of the stands and fall to the ground. "God this isn't fair." You looked at Jasmine and quietly agreed with her but for now you weren't going to say anything- especially since we scored again.

Suddenly you noticed Harry take off and with enough focus you could see the Golden Snitch. You watched Harry duck to avoid a bludger before his broomstick started freaking out, almost like the broom was trying to throw Harry off it. Jasmine seemed to move closer to the edge of the stage as she noticed this. "(Y/N), his broom is being jinxed." You looked at your best friend shocked before you looked over to where Quirrell was.
