Field of Flowers

The next day you suffered through the giant cake unaware that Jasmine and Lilly's parents had also set up a party which you were currently avoiding. You had managed to climb the large fence out the back of the Silverwater's house and was know sitting in a field, made beautiful by all the flowers growing wild and free. Sitting down you picked one of the flowers, this flower happened to be (F/C), not only was it your favourite colour but it had an intriguing pattern on the petals. On the petals you could see a lighter (F/C) waving around, creating a small sea wave flowing from one petal all the way to the others. From the corner of your eyes you saw someone heading towards you, you shrugged it off knowing it was probably someone from the party coming to find you. You relaxed slightly after seeing blonde white hair shinning in the sun, Draco had somehow snuck away from the party to find you. "Shouldn't you be enjoy the party, {Y/N}?" He sat down next to you causing you to smile but you didn't take your gaze off the flower. "Shouldn't you be enjoying the party as well Draco? Besides, it's more adults gossiping." You looked at the boy next to you who seemed to agree, after a while he finally spoke again. "So, you know people call you the queen of Slytherin?" You almost choked on the very air you breathed when that topic came up.

Pausing for a moment, you caught your breath before turning to Draco with a small, sly smile on your face. "Doesn't that mean I have more authority over you? After all, I've only heard other Slytherin's call you a 'prince'." You ended up laughing as he went quiet and a tiny bit unhappy with your logic. Jumping to your feet you held out your hand to the blonde white haired boy. Here goes, I'll sort of let him know how I feel. "Every queen needs a king." Seeming to understand what you were talking about he took your hand before pulling you into a hug. You could feel your heart beating like crazy, the sound of the drumming organ filling your ears as your face heated up. As it started to get later the two of you, holding hands, headed back over the gate and into the backyard of the Silverwater's just as Draco's father came out to find him. "Draco, we're leaving. The Silverwater's allowed a mudblood to show up." You knew he was talking about Harley, this made you mad but you hid it. Draco hugged you before quickly following after his father, running a hand through your (H/L), (H/C) you sighed and slowly went inside where you found Harley and Jasmine. When you entered they had their arms crossed and a smirk on their faces, you were just glad that Lilly hadn't caught on otherwise you would be in for a lot of torture.

"So, you finally confessed?" Harley spoke up the smirk never leaving her face. "Are you and Draco a couple now?" Jasmine spoke a more childish and teasing tone in her voice. You simply rolled your eyes at the pair and headed over to help Mr and Mrs Silverwater with the cleaning. "You will tell us, {Y/N}!" The pair shouted causing an annoyed Lilly to walk downstairs, Mrs Silverwater seeming to notice that we were all downstairs decided to speak up. "Girls, I need you all to stay inside. Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban." Jasmine and Lilly seemed to shrug it off while you and Harley looked at each confused. "Oh, Harley, {Y/N}, Sirius Black is supposedly a murderer and a supporter of the Dark Lord." Know you knew why the family didn't seem concerned, they believed that because he was a supporter he wouldn't come after them. Shaking your head you quickly went upstairs and into your room, all your books for Hogwarts were sitting neatly on your desk. You picked up a book which was for a subject called Care of Magical Creatures. You had a feeling that opening the book straight away would make the weird looking book do something weird. You put the book down before picking up a locket that was sitting near the books, unfortunately it didn't have any identification of who gave it to you.

At Platform Nine and Three Quarters

You got on the train pushing your way through all the people standing up and waving to their parents. Finally you got to a empty seat and sat down, it was only a matter of time before Jasmine, Lilly and Harley found you. The train ride was mostly quiet, until that is the train suddenly stopped no where near Hogwarts. After something came aboard than left the train slowly started moving again. You looked at your three friends confused about what just happened, eventually you all shrugged it off and continued to the the school. Once off the train all the students where ushered into carriages, the carriages seemed to have no creatures pulling it along. After all you looked once you arrived in front of the school, but still you could not see any creatures in front of the carriage. Once you arrived inside the great hall and found a place to sit in the Slytherin table the usual sorting of the new first years occurred before a bunch of students started singing, which admittedly you had dozed out during. After that it was Dumbledore's turn to speak.
