Jasmine, Lilly and yourself rushed over to where Professor McGonagall and Mr Filch were standing, handing Filch the permission note for Hogsmeade, you all quickly stood together amongst the other students. After a couple minutes Harley walked over to where you and your friends were. "Here me out, I am trying to figure out Harry's connection to Sirius Black." Jasmine, Lilly and yourself shared a look before looking back at the Gryffindor student. "Connection? What do you mean?" You asked crossing your arms, you had a feeling she was telling the truth but you didn't want to admit that yet. "Well, Harry's father and Sirius Black were friends, as well as Professor Lupin. However, Sirius was accused of betraying Harry's parents." Lilly looked at Harley with boredom clear in her eyes. "So, you're saying either Sirius did betray the Potters and is now after Harry, or what?" Harley shrugged, she had no idea what Sirius could be after if he was indeed innocent. You rubbed your arm as Jasmine elbowed you, she clearly didn't intend on being gentle. "Are you going to hang around us at Hogsmeade?" You muttered sending a glare towards your best friend, Jasmine only smiled at your glare.

"Remember, these visits to Hogsmeade village are a privilege. Should your behaviour reflect poorly on the school, that privilege shall not be extended again." You crossed your arms after fixing jacket, you waited for Professor McGonagall's next order. Harry headed towards the professor and the two seemed to be talking about his permission slip. "All those with permission, follow me. Those without, stay put." You turned and started following the man with Lilly and Jasmine following shortly after, Harley quickly catching up with you and the twins after stopping to wait. She was obviously finding out what happened between Harry and Professor McGonagall just now.

Eventually, you arrived at Hogsmeade Village. Hogsmeade looked like a Christmas card; the little thatched cottages and shops were all covered in a layer of crisp snow; there were holly wreaths on the doors and strings of enchanted candles hanging in the trees. You looked at the girls you had travelled with before heading over to Honeydukes. "You are going to love the inside of Honeydukes, {Y/N}." Jasmine cheered enthusiastically, at the door Lilly, Jasmine, Harley and yourself counted down to three before entering and what you saw definitely filled you awe. In front of you were shelves upon shelves of all the succulent-looking sweets you could imagine. Looking around you saw creamy chucks of nougat, shimmering pink squares of coconut ice, honey coloured toffees. Of course, there was hundreds of different kinds of chocolate line up in neat rows. On the ground were large barrels, one was filled with Every Flavoured Beans and the other was filled with a sweet you hadn't tried yet, Harley told you they were called Fizzing Whizzbees. Above you were levitating sherbet balls. Your gazed fixed onto another wall, this wall had shelves of 'Special Effect' sweets, the ones that you knew were Droobles Best Blowing Gum; You had these with the twins once, they filled the room with bluebell coloured bubbles which to your delight refused to pop for days

Another 'Special Effect' sweet that you had tried were the tiny black pepper imps, these sweets caused the consumer to breath fire which is fun to do around friends. Lilly pointed out a sweet called Ice Mice, she explained that the sweet made you hear your teeth chatter and squeak. Harley pointed out the Peppermint Creams Shaped Like Toads. "One time I tried them, without knowing what they do, and I really thought I had a frog hopping around in my stomach. It was so weird." You started laughing already glad that Jasmine and Lilly's parents were classified as your guardians. Happy you started buying some sweets, once you had brought a fair few Lilly and Jasmine bragged you out of the store. "Let's go to the Shrieking Shack." You looked at the pair before agreeing and walking with them, the shack really did seem haunted like everyone was saying. "I really want yo go inside." You looked at Lilly before smiling, secretly admitting to yourself that it would be cool to try and enter the house.

"Lilly, you already tried to." Jasmine rolled her eyes at her twin looking at the house. "Yeah, didn't you say the doors and windows wouldn't open at all?" Harley spoke up crossing her arms, your furrowed your eyebrows. Something didn't seem right about that, you began suspecting that the Shrieking Shack might not be haunted. "{Y/N}? What are you thinking about? You've totally been zoned out for five minutes." You looked at Jasmine who seemed concerned, you smiled and shrugged glancing at the Shrieking Shack. "I'm fine, I'm just upset that we can't get into there." Lilly agreed immediately, the four of you girls joked as you walked back to where Zonko's Joke Shop is. Unfortunately, you didn't get to go inside, by the time you pushed on the door it was time to head back to Hogwarts. Frowning slightly you followed the group not wanting to do anything that could kick you off from the visits here.
