Chapter 5

Daniel is back at work now. still teaching at the school, he's been back for a week now, so I've just been home with Sebastian, Alex has come over and mum has too, Alex only came over on Monday because it's his day off from work, mum has popped in everyday to make sure I'm ok and to see Sebastian, I think Daniel has told them to keep an eye on me even though he's denied it when I've asked. It is now the weekend and we've just woken up and gone downstairs for some food. Sebastian has got a little bit better with his sleeping at night which is good.

"Katie, I think I'm gonna quick go to the shops, we're out of milk and bread, and cereal" He says looking in the cupboards as I put Sebastian in his little bed in the living room.

"Ok, sure, I didn't realise we ran out, I'd have got some" I say.

"I'll be back in 20 minutes or so" He says grabbing his car keys and phone, he gives me a quick kiss and strokes Sebastians cheek and leaves. I can't believe Sebastian is already 7 weeks old, it's gone so quick. I go over to him and start doing things that makes him smile. It's Christmas next month and we're excited because it's Sebastian's first one, I've already got loads of presents for Daniel and Sebastian, but I still have to shop for presents for everyone else and thank god we're not in charge of Christmas dinner, we're joining Mum, Matt and his two kids.

"I love you so much Sebastian, so much, so does daddy" I say to him to which he just looks at me. I sit down on the sofa and put the TV on for a bit. A little while later there's a knock on the door, maybe it's a friend, or someone trying to sell something, Daniel took his keys so it wouldn't be him. I get up and go to the door, I open it to Daniel walking in smashing his lips against mine as he pushes me backwards and up against a wall, kissing me passionately.

"Sorry.. if I.. scared you" Daniel says in between kisses.

"Just a bit" I say.

"I just.. love you.. so much" He says as he kisses my neck.

"I love you too Daniel, but if you don't stop, we're going to the bedroom" I say.

"Sounds like a plan" He says.

"We have a little boy to look after, breakfast to eat, and a day to get on with babe" I say and he stops kissing my neck.

"Ok, then, some other time" He says and kisses me again. He then goes through to the living room and to Sebastian where he picks him up and we go to the kitchen, I make some toast while Daniel gives Sebastian a bottle.

"I'm so hungry, hurry up toast" I say talking to the toaster which makes Daniel chuckle.

"Silly mummy, is she a silly mummy" He says to Sebastian.

"Why can't it toast in like 10 seconds, why does it take like 2 minutes?" I ask rhetorically.

"Because the toaster is toasting the bread" He answers.

"That was rhetorical" I say.

"I have a surprise for you sweet" He says.

"And what is that?" I ask getting suspicious.

"Nothing bad, don't worry, I have booked us a hotel room next Saturday night, to ourselves, your mum and Matthew said they'll babysit over night for us, we go at 5pm in time for dinner, and then we can do what we like" He says with a wink.

"Is sex all you think about?" I ask.

"No, but I'll only have it with you, and I'll never get enough of you, you enjoy it anyway" He says and sticks his tongue out, so I stick mine out at him too.

"Fine then, what else do you think about?" I ask.

"How lucky I am to have you as my wife, I always think about this gorgeous boy" He says and kisses his head. "I think about work, our friends and family, today, tomorrow, and next Saturday night" He says.
