Chapter 11

I am woken up by the sound of Daniels voice, he's yelling, but yelling quietly, if you know what I mean. Should I open my eyes and see what's going on or should I pretend to be asleep still?

"I haven't seen or heard from you in over 2 years, why do you still have my number?" He asks. What is he talking about? "You can't just call me like this! I have a wife and son to think about!" He says. What? "Yes I am still with her, I never divorced her, you were right, I am in love with her, she's my world and the mother of my son" He says. Wait, is he talking to Emily?! I finally open my eyes and look over to him, he notices me straight away.

"Everything ok?" I ask quietly.

"Great, Emily, thanks to you I just woke her up!" He says, he covers the phone. "Yeah, it will be in a minute, I'll explain" He says.

"Ok" I say, not quite sure what else to say.

"Emily, Emily, stop talking ok, you cheated on me and got pregnant and almost told me it was my child, you're a liar ok, now I'm gonna go and be with my wife and son" He says and hangs up.

"What was all that about? Why is Emily on the phone to you after 2 years?" I ask.

"She called me a few minutes ago, she was talking all nice, as if nothing happened back then, she was a bit surprised when I told her I didn't divorce you as planned and had Seb, then she tried to say that she needs my help, her and her daughter" He says.

"Oh so she had a daughter, ok" I say.

"Yeah, but as we know, she's a liar, she probably needs my help to get back to me or some shi-crap" He says, almost swearing and then remembers Sebastian is in the room, I look over to him and see he's also awake.

"How long has he been awake for?" I ask.

"I woke up about 20 minutes ago and changed him, then I came in to wake you up cause it's nearly 9:30, but I saw my phone ringing and put him back in the cot to answer it, I wish I ignored it, I recognised it was Emily's number straight away" He says.

"Well if she calls again then put her on speaker, I don't have to speak, but I can hear the conversation" I say.

"Yeah well hopefully she won't call again, the one person in this whole world I hoped to never hear from again and I do" He says kinda annoyed.

"Well she's not getting you back if that's her intentions, you're mine now" I say.

"Even if I wasn't yours I wouldn't go back to her, the lies she's said, I don't love her anymore, I wouldn't be with someone I don't love" He says.

"I love you Daniel, we can get through anything and everything together" I say, he pecks me on the lips.

"I know, I love you too, I promise Emily won't come between us" He says.

"Well, why don't I get some clothes on, get this polo shirt off, and we can do something together, or nothing together, you're back at work tomorrow and we did a lot yesterday" I say.

"Why don't we just take the day off, just worry about Sebastian, stay in for the day" He says.

"Yeah sure, I've got some housework to do anyway, hoovering, the washing, might need to clean the sofa after your lack of control over yourself last night" I say.

"But it was good, right?" He asks with a smirk.

"I'm not answering that in front of our baby son" I say. I get up and put some clean clothes on.

"You look better naked" He says, I turn around and stare at him while he holds Sebastian in his arms.

"Of course you think that" I say.
