Chapter 12

"Honey I'm home" I hear Daniel say as he opens the front door and walks in.

"So are we, I'm in the kitchen cleaning it" I say as I scrub the cook clean.

"I know I said I'd be back at 4:30 but I got delayed at the school, the lads parents wanted to know what happened, I think they've grounded him for about a month" He says as he comes into the kitchen.

"It's ok, it's only 4:45, I've just been cleaning, Sebastian is asleep, actually, can you go and wake him up, he's been asleep since about 3" I say as I scrub.

"Yeah course" He says and kisses my cheek. He disappears upstairs and I finish cleaning the cooker, finally. About 10 minutes later Daniel shows up with Sebastian.

"Hey baby" I say and rub his cheek.

"His nappy smelt so I've changed him, it smelt soo bad!" Daniel says and puts Sebastian in his seat to watch some TV.

"Must have been something you gave him to eat" I say.

"Coming from the woman who feeds him" He says and we laugh. "You know, when you left, I got the class in and told them we were doing revision, all they were interested in was what they saw, someone spared a detention because they asked if you were a good kisser and they only spared detention because I didn't know who said it and nobody owned up" He says.

"Did you answer the question?" I ask, I have a good idea of what the answer is.

"Yeah, I said you are a phenomenal kisser" He says. "And then I told them if they didn't stop asking questions about my wife and personal life then they'd all get detention, for a week, they revised for the rest of class" He says.

"That's good, um, you know earlier, I asked you something" I say wondering if he remembers.

"You suggested getting a second car" He says.

"Have you thought about it?" I ask. I'm hungry, it's about time for dinner. "What do you want for dinner?" I ask.

"Yeah I have, and I don't mind" He says.

"I'll just order us a take-away" I say.

"Cool, what kind?" He asks.

"How does meat feast pizza sound?" I ask.

"Sounds perfect" He says. I get the phone and quickly order it.

"It'll be £12.99 and about 30 minutes, so what do you think about a second car?" I ask.

"I think it's not a bad idea, I mean, we can afford to run a second car, I can drive to work and wherever I need to go in a car, and you do can what you want in the other car" He says.

"So what kind should we look at getting?" I ask.

"Well we already have a 7 seater because we seem to give free lifts to everyone we know, so it's up to you whether we get a small 5 seater or we could get a big 5 seater" He says.

"We can browse around" I say.

"We can always get our dream cars, you know, you like Kia's, I like Range Rovers, so why don't we just get them, get rid of the car we have now, I can get a Range Rover with 7 seats and stuff, you can get a Kia of your choice" He suggests, that's actually not a bad idea, but what about the cost?

"That sounds good, but what about the cost, Range Rovers can be 100 grand" I point out.

"It's all affordable" He says.

"Then let's do it" I say with a big smile. The doorbell rings.

"That was quick, they said half hour, it's only been about 20 minutes" Daniel points out as he gets up and goes to the door, he opens it and takes the box.
