Chapter 17

"Sweet come on, let Alex look after the boys, we're going to be late!" Daniel calls me from the front door.

"Ok, ok, Alex, promise you'll call me if anything happens!" I order Alex.

"You're only going to be out for a couple of hours Katie, everything will be fine, Uncle Alex is here, now go" Alex says.

"Ok, be good baby" I say and kiss Sebastians head a few times. "Be good Tyson" I say as I attempt to kiss his head but he licks my cheek instead.

"Katie come on!" Daniel calls again.

"I'M COMING!" I shout back. I wave to them and join Daniel. We get in the car and he drives us to the hospital.

"We've gotta be there in like 15 minutes" Daniel points out.

"We'll be there, this little one will be fine" I say rubbing my huge baby bump.

"So are we decided, we're going to find out the gender?" He asks.

"Yeah, we kept Sebastians gender a surprise, let's find out this one" I say happy.

"What do you think the baby is?" He asks as he turns a corner.

"I dunno, we've already got a little boy, it'll be nice to have a girl, give him a sister" I say.

"I think it's a girl" He says. I can't believe I'm 6 months pregnant already! It seems like yesterday that I found out I was 2 weeks pregnant and I was crapping myself.

"Well it's 50/50 chance" I say and we laugh.

"It's weird to think in just a few months we're going to have another baby in the house" He says.

"I was just thinking about that" I tell him.

"I was thinking earlier, I know we agreed not to take Sebastian trick or treating this year cause he's little, but next year he'll be 2 years old, we could take him then" He suggests.

"Well we have just under a year to think about it, so much is going to happen next year, we've got Christmas coming up soon and the new year, this one due next year, who knows what else will happen, heck we might not even be together by then" I say.

"Are you trying to break up with me?" He asks, clearly joking.

"Hey if anyone ends the relationship it won't be me, I'm completely in love with you Daniel" I say just to reassure him, I've been in love with him since we woke up in that hotel room together, even if I wouldn't admit it until we were seconds from getting the divorce, I tried to hate him, I remember the first time seeing him I hated him, but I think about it now and think I tried to hate him because he was my accidental husband and supposed to get married to someone else, I thought I could never know him, until the divorce day, but I did love him the whole time.

"Well I swear, I'm not going anywhere, it's you, me, our kids, our dog, for life, I don't want anyone else but you and our family!" He says. We finally arrive at the hospital, and this is how tight for timing we are, just as we get signed in and sit down, literally a minute later, we're called in, Daniel helps me up and we go into the room, I lay down on the bed and lift my top up to show my huge bump, Daniel sits beside me.

"Hello Mrs Radford, how are you today?" The lady asks as she gets prepared.

"I'm great, just excited to see the baby again" I say smiling, I notice Daniel smiling too.

"Well then let's get to it, I imagine you've been through all of this before?" She asks.

"Err yes, we already have a son together" Daniel says.
