Chapter 1: Divergent and Pregnant

Tris POV

I couldn't believe it... I'm Pregnant.

2 Months Earlier.....

Christina and I were finishing unpacking all our furniture and belongings into our apartment. We each got our own, but we thought it would be fun to live together. Christina insisted we use the extra apartment for closet space. I on the other hand thought we should just abandon or sell it, but you can't say no to Christina, well at least when she begs you a million times.

"Okay, Can we take a break now? I'm so tired of this!" Christina complained.
"Fine, what do you want to do then?" I asked.
"Shopping!" Christina said excitedly, that is her favorite thing to do, I believe if the was a faction for fashion, Christina would be leader.
"No! Let's go get something to eat." I suggested
"Fine." She mumbled as we fixed ourselves up to go out.

We got to the cafeteria and got our food. Hamburgers, fries, and the famous, Dauntless chocolate cake, my favorite! We then went to our usual spot, when we got there we saw Uriah, Marlene, Zeke, Shauna, and Will.

"Hey Guys!" Christina shouts.
"Hey!" Everyone replies.

Christina, of course takes a spot next to Will and plants a kiss on his cheek. I then sit between Christina and Uriah. Uriah and I have become really good friends since we both got accepted into Dauntless. We been hanging out a lot, especially since he and Tobias are good friends.

"Have you guys decided what jobs you guys are gonna pick yet?" Shauna asked us.
" I'm not sure yet, but I bet "Ms. First Jumper" over here is gonna pick the highest job she can get." Uriah smirked.
"Definitely not, I couldn't stand being around Eric all day!" I replied. Everyone chuckled.
"Speaking of the devil." Will said
We all turned turned our heads to see Eric march in and around the cafeteria like a drill Sargent. He was messing with some girl, I think it's Lauren. Zeke, being the daredevil idiot he is gets up and decides to get up and go have some "fun" with Eric.

"Hey Eric!" Zeke shouts to Eric.
"What do you want?" Eric replies
" Oh nothing, I was just wondering why you are over here flirting with Lauren when she obviously doesn't like you?" Zeke smirked.
"You're an idiot! Shut your dang mouth!" Eric screamed. I have heard he has anger issues.
"Ooh those are some big words for a pansycake!" Zeke replied. Eric then swung a punch at Zeke, but he easily dodged it. Instead of hitting him and he grabs them waist band of Eric's pants and pulls them down revealing his black smiley face boxers! Everyone in the cafeteria is looking now and is roaring with laughter! Too embarrassed by what just happened to him, he tries to run but then falls on his face! The laughter grows and Eric picked his pants up and runs through the doors! Zeke comes back to the table barely being able to stand from his laugh attack. Everyone finally calms down and the Zeke announces something.
"Party at my place tonight! Ya'll coming."
Everyone agreed to come tonight, and the one thing I dread about the party is Christina always makes us go shopping for new clothes.
"Ooh! Let's go shopping," Christina squealed. I grumble and whined, but after constant begging and whining, Christina, Marlene, and I go shopping, luckily Shauna got away before Chris could get to her too.

After we finished shopping it was already 2:30 and we had to be in the training room by 3. So we drop off our bags and head off to the training room to chose our fate.

When we got there everyone has gathered around to listen to Max speak
"Today is a very important moment that should not be taken lightly. This is the day that you will pick you careers you shall spend your life fufilling. As you may or may not know, being in a job is not about experience and age here in Dauntless it is about ordinary acts of bravery."' He announced." You choose your jobs in order of you rankings during your initiation, Tris, you have the honor of choosing first." He announces.

I walked up to the board with the list of all the jobs available. I always dreamed of working along Tobias. Us training initiates and just being together. This is what I want, I choose Dauntless Initiate Trainer. Everyone else filled in their jobs, some were happy, others not so much. I look at the board to see what everyone got.

1. Tris- Dauntless Initiate Trainer
2. Uriah- Dauntless Government
3. Lynn- Control Room
4. Marlene-Tattoo Artist
5. Peter- Dauntless Borderline Patrolmen
6. Will- Control Room
7.Christina- Tattoo Artist
8.Lucy- PE Teacher
9. Mark- Assistant to Government worker
10. Jack- Weapon Patroller
11. Drew- Cleaning
12. Molly- Cafeteria Worker

I then congratulated all my friends on their jobs and them on mine. Everyone was celebrating, that's when I saw him. He was standing with arms crossed in the corner looking at me. I ran to him and jumped his arms and kissed him, passionately. We then pressed our foreheads together and stared into each others eyes.

"What did you pick?"He asked me. I smiled just thinking about it, "Dauntless Initiate Trainer" I replied. He smiled, "That's what I was hoping you would pick." I kissed him. "I Love You" he said "I Love You too." Yeah, I think I made the right choice.
