Chapter 11: Baby Talk

All my friends were staring at me and shock. Zeke was the first to break the silence, he looked at Tobias.
"When did this happen?" He said seriously, thats a first.
"It happened about 2 months ago, but I just found out recently." I spoke up.
"Who all knows?" Will asked
"It,was Christina, Four, and I, now you guys." I replied.
"Why didn't you tell me!" Will said to Christina.
"Ummm,.... well... It wasn't my news to tell." She said honestly.
"Thank goodness!" Zeke shouted. We all turn our heads confused
"I thought you just gained some weight." He laughed nervously. We all just laughed with him.
"Soo... What's his or her name?" Marlene asked eagerly. I glances at Tobias then back at her.
"We haven't really picked one out yet." I said
"Idea! You should name them after me!" Uriah shouted.
"Of course we will!" I said sarcastically" He pouted and we all laughed.
We all hung out for a little while longer, as Christina gawked over the baby and already planning my baby shower. Everyone left except for Shauna of course. Wink wink.
Tobias spends a lot more time at my apartment now than his own since Christina moved into Will's. We reached the apartment and we both got ready for bed. I changed into some black shorts and tank top and whipped off all the goo off my face and let my hair down. I went back into the bedroom to see Tobias laying down, shirtless, on the bed for me. I crawled into the bed and cuddled up next to him.
"How are you feeling about all this." I asked softy
"About what?" He asked
"About the baby and being a father and everything." He tensed up and that what I was afraid of. He wouldn't want the baby and would leave me. But I know he would never do that.
"No, I mean yes I'm scared of that, but I'm more scared I will be like.....Marcus. I could never live if I hurt you or the baby in any way." He said shakily
"I know you would never hurt us. Want to know why? Because Marcus would never be worried about hurting anyone, you care about us and would never intentionally hurt you me or the baby. That's how I know you won't." He gave me a smile and then kissed me.
"Have I ever told you I loved you?" He smirked.
"Well it's always nice it's hear it." I smiled
"I love you Trissy." He said
"Trissy?" I asked
"You don't like it?" He said pretending to be hurt. I laughed
"Of course I do. I love you Toby." I said sarcastically
"Yeah no pet names." He said as I laughed. We them drifted to sleep in each other.

~3 months later
The next few months went by pretty uneventful. Tobias and I finished training the initiates. The only initiates to fail were Aubrey (Amity) and Randall (Erudite), we have sometime off before the next group comes in. Tobias sometimes works in the control rooms with Zeke, but I usually stay home or hang put with my friends.
I'm 5 months pregnant now and tomorrow I find out of I'm having a boy and girl and tonight Tobias is taking me somewhere, it's a suprise, I hate surprises. Apparently Will is quite the artist, who knew. We were working on Christina's old room and turning it into the baby's room. She won't let me see it yet, again another suprise. Will is painting the walls and putting designs on it, and Christina is the head designer and picking out furniture. This should be interesting.

I look in the mirror to see my huge belly under my long, black dress. It obviously no secret that I'm pregnant anymore. I get some stares as I walk down the halls, but I usually can ignore them. Being pregnant in Dauntless can be a challenge, you get a little special treatment since your not as physically equipped to jump off trains and go zip-lining, but they still expect you to be able to shoot a gun and fight, if needed, no one . wever said the Dauntless was easy.

Tobias knocked on the door and walked in looking as sexy as always. He's wearing a button down black shirt, with faded jeans, and his combat boots. I look up to see him smirking at me.
"Like what up you see." He winks at me, making me blush like crazy. He still manages to put butterflies in my stomach. He laughs.
"I'm glad my embarrassment me amuses you." I smirk and wrap my arms around his neck. He leans in and whispers in my ear.
"Don't worry, I enjoy knowing you think I'm sext. Besides, I couldn't keep my eyes off you." I have to force myself to stand up, he makes me go weak to the knees. He then places a quick kiss on my nose and grabs my hand.
"You ready, my lady." He said in a weird accent. I laugh, and grabbed his hand.
We were working for a little while as the sun was about to set, when I realized where he was taking me, the ferris wheel. I smiled when the first time we came here and we sat and talked.
"Umm... Tobias." I asked nervously.
"Yes" he responded
"I'm not going to be able to climb that ladder."
"Don't worry, I already thought that far ahead." He grinmed. We reached the ferris wheel to see..... Will and Christina? I was so confused.
"Umm... Hi guys?" I said confused. Tobias laughed.
"Don't worry, they're only here to work the ferris wheel." He assured me
"Work? This thing is broken down." I added.
"That's where you're wrong. Will, being the nerd he is, fixed it for us."
"You're welcome. Wait, hey!" Will stated and made us all laugh. Tobias and I then stepped into the cart. Will began to press many buttons and the ferris wheel started spinning and stopped when we reached the very top. I looked over the land saw the more beautiful sky. The sun was setting and the sky was different shades or orange, pink, and red were painted across the sky. I could look at it forever until Tobias broke the silence.
"Tris, I love you more than anything else. You're my everything, I don't know what I would do without you. You make me who I am and bring out the best in me. You're absolutely beautiful, kind, smart, brave, and are as tough as nails. I don't deserve you, but you're are still mine and want you to be mine forever. Tris Prior, would you do the extraordinary honor of marrying me?"
I was absolutely speechless.
"Of course I will." He placed the ring on my finger and I could help but shed a few tears. I look over at his smiling face and kiss him. We sit and talk for about another hour or so and the ferris wheel started spinning. They cart stops when it reaches the bottom and Tobias offers a hand as I get out of the cart. I see Christina and instantly walk over to her to show her my ring. When she sees it she gasps loudly and covers her mouth.
"OH MY GOSH!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!! YOU'RE ENGAGED TOO!!!!!!!!" She screams almost bursting my ear drums. She then gives me a huge hug. Ive never been so happy in my life.

Today I find out what the baby's gender is. Tobias is coming, and Christina was begging to come. Christina arrives and we walk to the hospital. When we enter the hospital, I sign in and we went to the room. We anxiously wait for the doctor to arrive, we all turn our heads to see the doctor enter the room.
"Hello everyone, I'm Dr. Freeman, and I will be doing your ultrasounds today." The young woman smiles at us as she prepares everything. She looks to you g to be a doctor but, most people are young with big jobs.
"Okay Ms. Prior, iIf you could lay down on the table and lift your shirt, we can begin" she instructs. I do as she says and feel the cold gel rubbed on my stomach. She then roles the sensor all around my huge belly. She then shows a look of shock. She then does something on the computer and turns to us. She then stares at the monitor and turns back to us.
"Would you like everyone here to know?" She asks. I shake my head.
"Okay, this is quite big news. Ms. Prior, you're having a boy and a girl. Twins."
