Anika's Pov
We were at Shivaay's place now. I had finally fulfilled all rituals. The room was decorated with my favorite flowers when I entered it. I sat down on the bed, waiting for my husband.
But he didn't come, instead his best friend arrived which I didn't really like. Yet, today her aura seemed so different. It was confusing.
"Hey, don't be mad at me. Thank me, otherwise you would've never known you loved that idiot", she started laughing after she had seen me shooting daggers at her.
"I'm sorry. Our first impression wasn't that good", I hesitated. I still had a bit of difficulty talking to strangers.
"It's okay, that doesn't mean we have to dislike each other for the rest of our lives. I just came here to inform you that he'll be back soon, Om and Ru are just teasing him", she smirked at me and for the first time, I instantly knew what she meant and why he was getting teased.
"Don't have too much fun", she winked at me and left the room. I sighed in boredom.
The door opened after ten minutes again, it was him this time. He looked flushed. His face was crimson red and it made me shy too.
"Hey", he rubbed the back of his neck. Why was he being so shy, I was the bride here.
"Are you going to sit down now or what?", I asked him. I was a bit pissed because the dress was way too heavy and I was tired.
"Yes", he replied and sat down near me. I looked at him but he looked away.
My hands wandered to his face and I made him look at me. He was such a kid, but I loved him.
"What you think about sleeping?", I asked him and his eyes grew a size larger.
"Not in that way, Shivaay", I rolled my eyes and hit him with a cushion.
"What was I supposed to know which way you meant", he pouted. Shivaay was soo cute.
"Do you want to cuddle, hubby?", I smiled at him. He looked at me with his shining eyes and nodded.
Soon we changed into pj's and got into the bed. I turned around, but then I turned again. So that we could face each other. Shivaay's arms went around my waist and scooted my closer.
He looked at me and I blushed. We were so slow and unromantic. His hands were brushing away my hair on my neck. His thumbs started massaging my earlobe. It made me ticklish. I giggled and he laughed.
"Shut up", I glared at him. His lips touched my forehead.
"Sleep tight, wifey", he told me. The nickname gave me goosebumps.
After some time Shivaay was fast asleep but I was still playing with his hair. I felt so happy that I couldn't sleep. Everything felt so unreal.
I didn't know when but staring at his face, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I found Shivaay looking at me.
"Good morning, honey bunny", he patted my hair and I made a fake grumpy face.
"Don't touch my hair", I told him. He laughed and I punched his arm.
"I mean it", but Shivaay kept laughing.
"It's already bad enough, babe", he looked at me. My mouth dropped at his rudeness, I turned around.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry", he pulled me by my hands but I still didn't look at him.
"Ani, please look at me", his voice sounded raw and I couldn't resist it.
I jumped on Shivaay and hugged him tightly. We kept hugging each other until he decided to tickle me. I started wheezing because of it.
While tickling we hadn't realized that Shivaay was on the top of me and his face was really close to mine. We both noticed that once the door opened and dadi entered the room.
She looked at him with her mouth open. Horror was written on our faces. I opened my mouth but couldn't say anything. Shivaay looked at me and then at her.
"It's not what it looks like", we said in union and shook our heads.
"Next time, lock the door, kids", she started laughing.
"I know you guys are married and probably desperate...", she couldn't finish the sentence because we screamed at her.
"No, that's not what happened", we looked at her. Dadi seemed confused.
"Yeah, yeah, keep making excuses", she kept laughing and left.
I glared at Shivaay, he looked at me with a pout. Dadi thought I was some desperate wife and that was all because of my husband. This wasn't the impression I wanted to make on his family.
"I'm sorry, love", he tried to calm me but I hissed my teeths at him.
"Don't", I growled at him and he looked at me sadly.
