                                           Chapter 10

With a puzzled look on his face while being drenched in milk it took everything in me to keep it together.  “Village Day is the day when I have to visit the closest village to get the supplies I need.” I explain.

“So I’m guessing village day is today?”

“Yeah, now there is two ways to get there, the fun way or the long boring way.”

“The fun way of course!”

“Then follow me!” Walking outside on to the porch I ask Muto if he is ready.

After Muto nods, I close my eyes and concentrate; I make the vine unravel and rap around our waist, pulling each other together. “Are you good at grabbing things quickly right?” I ask. “Um yeah, I guess.”, “Good then let’s go!” I start running from one end of the porch to the other end, and then we jump. “Whooooooaaaaaa!!!!!!!!” Muto screams. I love jumping off the porch because it is the closest I can get to flying. Since we are jumping straight out we have to grab the branch that we can hang on while I make the vine ravel up again, but that also means that we will have to grab the branch in the narrow few second window we have. “Grab that branch NOW!” I scream, luckily we both grab the branch and hang on while I send the vine back. “Now here is the tricky part, I have made the tree branches in our path just right for us to swing on, if you don’t fail then we will get to the village in about five minutes. If not then it will take longer depending where you fall. Oh one last thing, don’t look down.” With a smile I jump off the thick branch while listening to hear if Muto does too.
