The show ended with Kara as second runner up, and Dappy the Dancing Dog and his trainer Megan stealing first. After cleaning up the booth, Jessica and I parted ways, and I went to go congratulate Kara.
I quickly slipped out into the hall, and saw the crew surrounding Kara as well as our families. She was beaming, a bunch of roses were cradled in her arms. Breathtaking! Beautiful!
I nervously walked up to everyone not sure as to break the moment.
" Hey guys," I announce my presence.
" Oh hey, Josh," Sheila greets," as you can see sister girl here knows how to break it down.
" Yep, I guess, she took my luck after all," I say with a smirk.
" Someone's head is getting really huge, must be from all that ego he's got," she replies.
" Yeah, yeah, but my ego isn't so big that I can't tell you congratulations," I answer with a genuine smile.
" Thank you," she respone with similar genuineness.
" Alright! Enough with the flirting you two," Blake answers," Let's go get our partay on," he finishes leaving us all appalled that something like that would come out of Blake's mouth.
" What," he asks while looking at our shocked faces causing us all to burst out laughing.
______________-
AH! Such good memories! I think as I look at the picture of all of is sitting at a Pizza Parlor after Kara's win as runner up in the talent show. Closing the binder full of pictures from my high school years.
As I remember all that transpired those four years I just have to thank God. Despite the ups and downs, the major down being the car crash, but the down created a lot of ups. If that crash hadn't happened I probably wouldn't have found Jesus again. I wouldn't have found life long friends, and I wouldn't have found my amazing wife.
" Honey you ready for this," Kara asks, while walking out of our room, belly round and wide with our first child. She was dressed in a simple light blue dress, but she couldn't look more beautiful.
" Yeah," I say with a gleam in my eye, pride swelling in my eye.
" What is it," she asks with a smile, while walking over to me.
" I was looking at old photos," I say before putting the binder back on the shelf.
" Oh, back in the glory days when I could actually fit in a dress," she says while holding her belly.
" You look beautiful," I say while grabbing a hold of her hands, and looking into her doe, brown eyes," And I'm truly thankful that God gave me you," I say with sincerity.
" You were always the smooth talker, huh," she says with a smile.
" Always have, always will," I say pulling one of my charmer smiles.
" Let's go, Mr. Smooth Criminal,"she says pulling me towards the car," I want to get home before all the craziness."
" Yeah, hopefully, it's not like the last reunion," I say with a grimace. Before walking out of the door I looked at the painting that graced my mantle.

It was one of a boy breaking out of his glass chains, free. It remains me everyday that I have been set free, and whatever chains try to lock me in I have a Master who is holding the key, and already has an escape plan. Looking up I thank God for all He's given me, and for all the times He's been there for me. Letting me know that I will never be alone.

Such an amazing story that I had fun writing, especially the ending! I hope you all enjoyed, and learned that God is always there. Through every twist and turn, guiding you and holding your hand.
Thank you all, bless you and love you! Also thank you Jesus for helping me to write this and share your word with everyone.

God bless everyone!
