Chapter 41

Bob opened the classroom door, and much to his dismay, a large majority of the class were already there.

"It's only just 7 am!" Bob muttered, looking at his students with slight surprise.

He waited a couple more minutes until the last few students, including Caitlyn, drifted in and sat down.

"Hello, class. I apologize for my absence. I was quite ill yesterday and unable to attend work," Bob explained, "I have been informed that my college Janet covered your lesson. I have also been informed that Ricky and a few of his friends made it difficult for her," Bob glared in Ricky's direction, "However! I am back now, and so we can continue!"

"What do you mean, ill? You have another breakdown or something?" Ricky sneered. A few snickers followed from his friends.

"A physical one," Bob replied.

"Yeah right! You're never off ill; you totally had another break-down," Ricky laughed.

"I know that I have never been off ill before, but I can assure you that I am not superhuman, and do get ill sometimes," Bob replied, beginning to take out a few papers from his brief-case.

"Okay, did Janet ask you for your essays on your favorite author?" Bob asked.

A few people shook their heads, and others said no.

"Then you should have them with you, I presume?"

A chorus of yeses answered, and the students began placing their essays on their desks for Bob to collect.

Bob let out an irritated sigh when he reached Ricky.

"I do hope that you have your essay with you, Ricky," Bob said.

"Oh, I do! But I've another essay that I want to give you also," Ricky replied, smirking.

"Oh?"

Ricky pulled two essays out of his pocket, slightly crumpled.

"Thank you, Ricky," Bob sighed, taking the original essay from him.

"This other essay; may I read it aloud, Robert?" Ricky asked, uncharacteristically politely.

"Why not?" Bob grumbled.

Bob walked back towards his desk, placed the essays atop of it and leant against the desk as Ricky cleared his throat, as if to begin.

"Ahem! This essay is on the recent event that has occurred in the life of Robert Underunk Terwilliger, aka Sideshow Bob," he began.

Bob jumped in surprise, nearly falling. What on Earth?!

A few students giggled at Bob's surprise. Bob raised an inquisitive eyebrow as he continued.

"Many would say that Robert Terwilliger is more than experienced in  humiliating career paths, having had one as a Sideshow  on the Krusty the Clown Show, and then pursuing a life in the act of an attempted murderer, having made many attempts to murder people; many of these attempts were against a ten year old child, Bart Simpson."

Bob grimaced, but didn't stop Ricky.

"However, in the year 2007, Robert was released from prison for what he vowed to be the final time, and hasn't made any further attempts to murder people- or so many think."

'Where the hell is this going?!' Bob asked himself, slightly nervous as to what Ricky was about to say next.

"Just a few months ago, the Terwilliger family suffered the loss of eleven year old Gino Terwilliger; he was killed by a speeding motorist outside of Springfield's Try-N-Save, whom is an unknown driver."
