Clarke
Bellamy watched me curiously as I paced. "Okay," I breathed. I opened my trunk, grabbing the photo album with my letters in it.
And my phone started vibrating.
"Hello?" I answered, a little stressed. My stomach hurt, something was wrong.
"Clarke, I think his arm is broken. We're at the emergency room. He wants you, I'm so sorry."
"Oh, god." I felt my knees give in as Bellamy grabbed me. "What room are you in?"
"Marcus is demanding a room right now, I'm signing him in."
"I'm on my way," I ended the call, my mind swirling.
"Clarke?! Clarke! What's going on? You're not catching your breath!"
Bellamy. Shit. "I-I have to go. I need to get to the hospital, Now!"
"Give me your keys," he demanded, pushing me into the passenger seat. I constantly looked at my phone as Bellamy drove me to the hospital, stealing looks at me. "Clarke what's going on? Who's in the hospital?"
Bellamy couldn't park in front of the doors, we had to settle for the parking deck. I pulled my shoes off to get out.
"Clarke!" Bellamy was running behind me. I stole a glance behind me, my tears falling freely.
"I need to see a patient," I told the woman at the front desk.
"Okay, are they a patient or are they here in the emergency room?" The red bead asked.
"He's here!" I said, a little too angry.
"Okay, what is his name, ma'am? I can call back to his room to ask if he wants company."
"Listen, you're about to let me back there right now to see my-"
"Clarke!" Marcus shouted my name, stopping me. "Clarke we're in a room, come on."
With a breath of relief I followed Marcus, my bare feet slapping the disgusting floor, but all I could feel was fear for my son.
"Clarke, uhm," I looked at Marcus as he lead me, confused. But then I remembered Bellamy was still following me.
"Listen, I have three seconds before I burst in that room and shock you. I suggest you sit out here and flip through that book." Without another word to him, I burst open the door and dropped my shoes. "Oh," I cried. "Oh, baby."
Gently I scooped him into my arms and squeezed Homer. He was crying against my shoulder, hugging me with his right arm.
My mom was stiff, she had caught Bellamy standing in the doorway. Shock was written on his face.
"Excuse me," a doctor said, entering the room. Bellamy stepped out of the way, his eyes locked on mine, burning with questions.
"Is this Homer Bellamy Griffin?" The older man asked, causing Bellamy to plop down in the chair behind him, the air leaving his lungs.
"Yes," I confirmed. "Are we getting xray ready? Are you doing the xray in here?"
"Well, Mom," he chuckled. "The portable xray is on its way here right now, I just wanted to get his weight and age right on the chart. We don't have a record for him here. We'll have someone come in to get all the paperwork done afterwards but I need to give him a little dose of pain medicine. He'll probably fall asleep"
